Update 2.37.0.84

good, finally gonna see people using fighters as fighters

I already thought it was bad long before the BR update, after increasing the BR, it became irrelevant but as I gained PP, I ignored it, as the objective was to reach the TOP level, buying a premium vehicle is for that, if not, why would it exist?
Mocking someone’s skills only changes the fact that you spend more time at the computer than other players. I bought the vehicle to climb quickly and that’s it. That’s it!!

then good luck on top tier if u bombed your way there, using those as intented also help u gain experience bc you dont usually bomb at top tier :D

Grinded the whole swedish air tree with it so no i dont suck i have a 86% win percent in air sim with the jas39c

napalm works great now! earnings seem to be about the same if you’re actually bombing bases. comparing some ccip base bombing i did yesterday to some napalm bombing i did today, the payout is very similar. plus, watching people that dont read the patch notes do absolute tiddlywink damage is hilarious. they’ll race to the base thinking they can missile it before your bombs land, and it just does NOTHING, kinda funny. dont get me wrong i used the missile trucking to get through high tier japan, but thats how it goes.

I think you misunderstood me. What I meant was that Gaijin has the ability to fix more difficult and malicious bugs in a day, but it took them a year to fix a simple issue that is beneficial to players. I don’t understand this. Of course, I also despise those cheaters, and they should be opposed.

The long repair time for this issue that benefits players has led everyone to forget that it was a bug rather than a game mechanic, causing many people to spend money on some seemingly good planes. Now that the promotion is over, Gaijin immediately fixed this beneficial bug, which is hard not to make people think that Gaijin did it for the promotion. But now that the promotion is over, they are preparing to update higher-level packages.

As I have mentioned in topic related to this problem - devs are aware of it and are working on fix.
Sorry for troubles

Yes and no.
Gaijin are champions of uncoordinated work of departments.
first department changed BRs because some planes are over performing in grind and income, because they can kill bases with unguided rockets.
Second department fixed damage from Unguided rockets.

The bug with the failure to register damage when dropping more than 4 bombs has not been fixed. If you drop three bombs twice, then the damage will be greater than dropping six once

Result:

  1. j-35xs can only grind bases and useless as a fighter
Many planes received wrong BR because of grindbases
  2. j-35xs unplayable
  3. helicopters can’t grind bases now.
  4. BRs rollback soon

Great job!

Great! Now the grind in sim planes and helis is just as painful as grind with anything else! Way to go, Gajin! Great way to ruin last pleasant part of the game! Specialy already crippled heli sim battles are just painful now with nothing to do ('cause spawning enemies don’t work), too many players and even fewer ways to get some points. Truly disgusting

i would like to see you consistently notch with no RWR

While I appreciate the need/want to reduce the effectiveness of rockets versus buildings/bases (I’d be curious to see how this has impacted the larger rockets intended for anti-building/anti-runway work) but ultimately the changes made also impact bombers.

The Research Points and Silver Lions gained from completing objectives and inflicting damage on targets is in dire need of review. As it stands the grind seen in WT is doing harm to the game. I’m not saying that there shouldn’t be any grind or that it shouldn’t take time to unlock stuff but as it stands the time it takes for your average player to progress to the upper tiers is absolutely horrendous and damaging to the player experience.

Perhaps it’s time that Gaijin shift to task based Research and SL bonuses with aircraft receiving increased rewards for the completion of tasks relevant to its role. Fighters would receive increased income for destroying enemy aircraft, Strike aircraft would see increased income from destroying ground vehicles and static defences, Bombers would receive increased income for destroying static defences and bases and finally multi-role aircraft would be balanced around the idea of “jack of all trades, master of none”.

I’m not pretending it would be a perfect system, easy to implement or a fix to all the progression problems we’re seeing but it would at least reward players for playing based on the intended role of their aircraft.

I appreciate that it’s up to Gaijin to determine their intended rates of progression but it appears as though they are actively harming WT. I’d be interested in seeing infographics for “number of registered accounts to active accounts” along with “average progression time to reach top tier” (graphics for ground, heli, naval and air) and an infographic displaying the “average place in tech tree” for both active accounts and inactive.

Is this true?

Unfortunately, this is always with them. At first, due to a bug, the vehicle is Overperforming, then the vehicle is BR goes higher and only then the bug is fixed.
As a result, often vehicle remains at higher BR for some time or forever

Mdaa… Playing has become simply impossible, you can forget about beavers in arb and asb. Honestly I really do not like this update, from it as if the desire to play even disappeared

Please, note that one point from this changelog has been removed as some changes were reverted and will be reintroduced in one of the coming updates:

  • Churchill VII, Churchill Crocodile — a bug that prevented track marks from affecting the depth of snow on winter maps has been fixed.

Please ask the developer when he will revert failed changes to BR of some aircraft, including premium ones? I don’t really want to wait. Like many players, we bought premium planes (J-35XS, F-5C), albeit at a discount, but we cannot use them, since BR does not correspond to real combat effectiveness and bad matchmaking.
All planes BR 11.3 always get to 12.0-12.3. Means their actual BR is 12.0

Some aircraft like Kfir Canard are playerble, but only in a hands of very expirienced player

A BR of 11.0 is a BR of 11.0, no matter if you get uptiered all day. Same goes for 11.3.

The J35XS definitely should go down to 11.0 considering its lack of an RWR and low CM count, but it shouldn’t go back to 10.7.

The F-5C should stay at 11.0, the F-5E should go to 11.3, like it was originally planned to do, and the F-5E FCU should go to 11.7
