I find Gaijin’s practices quite funny, not to say sad: they raise the br of planes like the J35XS, F4C, F5C because people are using it to rocket bases and artificially boosting their stats (we can argue about the f5c in this one but why would you play it over the F5E when they are in the same br?). Now they “”“”““bugfix””“”“” the base rewards do the ground.
Does anyone here believes that they will reduce the br of these planes again? I sure as hell dont.
I dont think a company as big as Gaijin will actually make these kind of changes without planning, meaning they consciously had a sale, upped the br of some planes and now reduce base rewards.
Just one more thing: they cite a 5 year old post, that if you go to the comments the majority of players disagree with the changes, and a 7 months old bug report. Meanwhile there this one about the rp simply disappears that is 3 years old and there is not a fix yet. But hey, anything to make the grind more miserable right Gaijin?
Still hoping for an explanation as to why the Tornado WTD61 and IDS-MFG are 11.3, and the Tornado IDS-ASSTA1, GR.1, and IDS-1995 are 11.7. They are the exact same, same engines, same air to air performance… everything, but because the tech tree tornados have guided air to ground weapons, they are a higher BR… in fact theyre a higher BR than they are in ground RB… why? are laser guided bombs really that much of an advantage in air RB?
“I don’t understand why people are celebrating. Clearly, they did this to make the game harder to farm, using the excuse that it was a correction. Luckily, I’ve already researched everything, but this makes events even more challenging.”
Does anybody here actually use the su22m4 for CAS I was so excited to see it at 10.3 because it would be decent ground pounder with ordinate capable of hitting Sam’s before having to get within there range which would most likely kill you, definitely a bug I’m not glad was “fixed”
In the process of fixing bugs it has led to a nerf. Whether accidental or intentional something needs to be done to level the scale again. As things are, it’s not ideal.
oh great, so it looks like one of the “bonuses” of the update is that it completely crippled heliPvE for many helicopters. Helicopters with small rockets (Type 57-1, SNEB, …), small rocket count or both do miniscule damage to bases now and generate so little score that going after bases is just waste of time. Which means significant indirect nerf because now far more players will now be forced to go after frontline groups … many helicopters can’t damage bases anymore, can’t engage convoys without dying instantly to Gepards and can’t touch aircraft at all (pretty much all helicopters in the 7.7-9.3 heliPvE bracket).
Even before this there was already problem with far too many players having to compete for far too few objectives (and thus score), now it’ll get far worse. And when MM throws full 10 players into the 7.7-9.3 heliPvE battle and all are forced to compete for the same 1/3 of objectives their helicopter can actually engage somewhat well … looks like Gaijin just figured a pretty sleazy way to decrease heliPvE rewards by 50% without actually having to say out loud “we’re decreasing rewards by 50% or more”. Clever.
They can still take 2 bases with bombs, they’re just going to be slower. Generally it makes greedy people wanting 2 bases slower than those who are okay with just taking one, which is good.
Shocking how this game can have massive bugs like 20x damage multipliers exist for who knows how long, how about you guys hire someone to do the most basic testing?
