It was the manual my guy for the tank
[Insert another Bad (and acutally outdated/wrong info) german Transmission meme]
If every engine was allowed to perform at its maximum theoretical RPM and horse power, we gotta do a ton of changes to the WW2 piston aircraft! Forcing vehicles to use their rated/governed engine performance over max theoretical is quite well-established.
Only way one could justify un-rated engine performance for GRB would be if GRB/GSB had its own “MEC” with consequences for going above and beyond engine limitations (if such was possible IRL - for air, only planes that could go above their max continuous can do it. Yaks were notably designed so that max RPM and max boost didn’t kill the engine and this cannot be overriden)
to be fair there historical accuracy means nothing in this game there so many things in this game thats historically inaccurate germany gets hit by historical nerfs but no one else does kinda sad
If you still believe the developers of this game care about realism boy do I have an email from a Nigerian prince for you
if you cant accept facts, then that is not my issue
That’s kind of my issue with this game right now or the fact that the P-47 outperformed the 109 and 190 above 13,000 ft and was faster than both of them in a dive just gets conveniently overlooked
yea if this game was realistic T34 when hit with anything cause spall due to poor armor quality. Shermans would catch fire if hit anywhere near engine room due to highly flammable ava gas for there radials aim54Cs would be able to pull 25g R27ER would not be able to go mach 5.8 YAK-141 wouldnt have missiles list goes on and on
190s out turn spits at certain speeds also guns are heavily nerfed mg 151 getting hit with no real shatter drives me nuts
The 105 Tiger in WT is just made up by Gaijin, implementing three different changes into one vehicles:
- Proposal to mount 105mm KwK into Tiger II
- Plan to fit future Tiger II H turrets with a rangefinder like on the Panther F
- Planned use of the Maybach HL 234 engine on future tanks, once available
The combination of the three, particular the 105mm gun with the rangefinder makes the tank particularly fake, as it’s simply made up.
While a 105 Tiger without the rangefinder or HL 234 would still be fake but at least based on a proposal to further increase the armor penetration.
Looking on the bright side, at least Tiger II players won’t have to worry about being flanked too easily when they press W on their keyboard.
you have to embrace realism
tell that to the devs what realism is the T34-85 everything in this game is on paper irl T34-85 cannot go 30mph and its armor was brittle just go watcha spookston realism video and youll understand why
Where did you find an english translation of the manual?
google translate app can translate photos and superimpose the translated text onto those photos
I mean, as a German WW2 main for the most part, it’s not that big a deal, is it disappointing? Absolutely, but if it’s the real Tiger 2 manual, then it is what it is. Not only that the nerfs arent going to destroy 6.7 Germany, we still get access to the Jagdtiger, which is still good in a 7.7 uptier, and the tigers still get the excellent German long 88, which can still shred through a lot of the tanks at its BR, the panthers from what i know are good, the Bulldog is excellent as it gets scouting APDS, but i find it to be not worth it, and finally a good HEAT-FS round, The Ferdinand is kinda just a smaller Jagdtiger with a 88mm so its still good. Overall Germany 6.7 will still be stacked imo
The point that I was trying to make that obviously went 15 ft of your head was that this game is filled with historical inaccuracies
prime example of this the P-47 Thunderbolt outperformed the 109 and the 190 above 13,000 ft and it was faster than both of them in a dive and yet I routinely have 109’s and 190s keep up with me above 15,000 ft and run me down in a straight vertical dive that’s obviously a historical inaccuracy
another historical inaccuracy is the M4A3E2 (76) W there was no production version of the M4 ever produced with its frontal armor 101 mm every single production version of the M4 Sherman ever produced during World War II could be penetrated by an 88 mm with the greatest of ease not only that any hit should have a 99% chance of setting the tank on fire because of the Ava Gas that the Allies used in the Sherman’s that’s why they got their nickname Tommy cookers
not enough? Okay let’s talk about the T-34 tanks both the T-34-57 and the T-34-85’s had notoriously unreliable engines because they were tractor engines not meant to propel armor forward so what started happening was a lot of them just started self-definating which is when you’re Pistons and crankshaft come apart
The Yak-9T and Yak-9k were retired from service after only 6 months each why? Because they put a tank Cannon in a fighter plane with no recoil management system because hua comrade iz big gun yes? So in the next update every time the Yak-9T/9K fires its primary weapon there should be a 35 to 40% chance that the front of the plane just explodes because that is what historically happened and why they were retired from service so soon after introduction and why they test fired their weapons after they took off from the air bases they were stationed at at a suitable altitude where the pilot could bail out
I expect all of the above issues to be fixed because they are inaccuracies historically and the next update or Gijin COULD just abandon this bs nerf because there are far more inaccuracies that I can point out
Please use official BR thread to discuss upcoming BR changes/modification to these vehicles.
thank you.
