Im fine with captured vehicles and lend lease/export vehicles appearing in other trees. I hate when players such as yourself gatekeep X for Y Nation because its from Z nation just because they dont want a vehicle in a nation they like less.
theres already a billion premiums in germany trees with better armor then there counter parts i despise them tiger 1 for italy same br add on armor its a deep rooted hatred for p2w vehicles i dont like german tech in trees that only had 1 or 2 of them i dont hate britain btw i like keeping trees as pure as possible adding stuff like this ruins trees by leaving no place for DOMESTIC opitions
I don’t think any British players here were suggesting it as a TT vehicle. Premium, Reward, BP vehicle is fine. It’s a one-off with a unique modification. So not exactly a complete copy-paste.
I’m personally fine with the German KV-1 with the German 75mm. That’s a unique modification.
I agree, I am all OK for nations to get unique variant of existing different nation vehicle but only as event/BP vehicle, as it makes it more unique and worth grinding and often gives nation vehicle with unique playstyle in comparison to their TT vehicles, in this case tank destroyer/SPG with armor (only ones in UK tree being Tortoise and 3-inch Gun Carrier) and APHE shell (that is only present on 2-Pdr and M3 75mm gun equiped vehicles).
When a nation captures/inherits a foreign vehicle and then modifies it themselves, it becomes a domestically upgraded version.
Perhaps you would see the KW I C go to Russia instead, because after all the modifications from Germany are clearly irrelevant in your eyes.

I wouldn’t really mind it being an event vehicle, but not present entirely? It’s a pretty well known German field mod and so it only makes sense to represent it in some capacity in the game.
honestly 90% of captured vehicles should just be skins on the tech tree version in the right tree which is how it was back in the day for example the german yak 1 should just be a skin for the russian yak1 b you unlock after a certain amount of kills
That only works if they’re copy paste though. I myself am against copy paste of any sort, but the KW I C that we’re talking about is very much a unique vehicle.

That’s a pretty odd take, many captured vehicles are modified specifically to fix their flaws, thus creating a more effective and useful vehicle to play. I respect your opinion, but I have to say I disagree, modified captured vehicles are a fun way to explore the spectrum of war trophies without actually introducing copy paste.
Add it to british test drive map as a target. Jokes aside it could be a nice premium vehichle. I don’t think that captured vehichles which weren’t meant to be in combat should be techtree vehichles.
Ya the poor gear box may not survive that extra armor. I think it should be a battle pass vehicle if its themed well. Also the Germans will demand they have it as well.
IF it gets added, it will likely be a battlepass vehicle because all good British tanks are locked behind events and high paywalls
This is hardly British nor will it be good. All that extra steel will give you the worst gun handling ever when you stop.
Though I think it will find use in the up and coming infantry mode as a way to attract heavy fire…
How is it hardly British? The British have a better claim on this Jadgpanther than Germany does in almost every way. British supervised the construction and partly help in it, they tested the vehicle, modified it for their testing needs and used it longer than Russia used T-34s in front line service (at least continues front line service)
I got nuked before for saying this in the post. The German mains will want one and the UK mains will want one as well. But as a good British vehicle no its strength is armor which it wont be able to use because everyone will be throwing around HEAT and your gun handling will be poor.
I hope it sees the day of light but its a very radioactive tank and will cause fights one gaijin would likely avoid or profit over. AKA a market vehicle or GE.
Tbh to be able to remove the side skirts of tanks in the game would be dope.

I already get hit by APDS, HEAT and ATGMS without having a turret or get flanked by nimble Cold War vehicles using automatic cannons at 6.3.
I would go for a Br of 6.0 for the regular Jagdpanther or general decompression first.
