Didn’t Syrian army capture most of these vehicles? From that sense these are now operated by Syrian army.
Yes and no
Syria did get a lot of their captured weapons back however it seems that most of the unique modifications that the Rebels or ISIL operated when the Syrian Army captured them they never operationally used them again due to various factors. Only showing them off as trophy vehicles at most
I think that is a good enough reason to get them but I agree with you. Also I think it would be very hard to figure out which vehicles were captured.
Here is an Egyptian Army K9 Thunder in a military parade back in October
Egypt’s locally manufactured M1A1
There may be another potential aircraft for Top Tier for the UAR TT, the F-15EX, Egypt cancelled their orders of Su-35’s at the last second due to pressures mainly from the US. At least 5 Su-35E’s were complete prior to the cancellation so it could still appear in the Air TT
Weren’t those Su-35Es diverted to Iran instead?
EDIT: Nvm you literally answered my question in the Iranian post.
Iraqi SPAA as a premium?
Here is a DMS-K, a dual missile system platform utilizing the Konkurs ATGM, currently it’s presented on a Landcruiser however i’m not going to add it to the proposal since partially i’m more interested in the weapon system but also i’m going to wait if it’s going to be mounted on other vehicles such as the SENA-200 for example and also to see if it can use other ATGM’s
One other thing
I decide to look around for Egyptian operated IS-3’s and i keep seeing references for Egypt operating both the base IS-3 and the IS-3M however i am not going to add it just yet to make sure if this info is correct
Another big announcement:
I just stumbled across the Sarab family of Soft APS system that Syria developed. Because of that there will be changes on some of the ground vehicles
The image below shows a SAA T-62 with the third iteration of the Sarab APS. The Sarab in all iterations are also mounted on T-55’s and T-72’s
Hopefully you don’t forget about the Egyptian Abrams as Egypt manufactures its own Abrams and even modifies it according to their needs.
It’s already in there as the “M1A1” though it’s going to be renamed to “Helwan M1A1” for Specificity sake
I’d love it for my countrymen to finally get some representation with this game. This is one of the more interesting propositions tho, I’m down to clown. hope Gaijin considers this
