I have not read the entire post yet, so I apologise if I am writing something that has already been mentioned before. However, I personally wouldn’t have issues with copy-paste vehicles in War Thunder.
As long as the copy-paste tanks would be optional to play, I don’t think it would cause issues with other players either. The more unique tanks could be accessed first, with the rest of the copy-paste tanks being optionally researchable vehicles being in a drop-down menu style configuration that’s already in the game with many nations’ tech trees.
This applies to any nation, not specifically just Ukraine, but more so nations with more limited domestic vehicles and domestically upgraded equipment that they got from other nations.
This would allow for nations like Ukraine, North and South Korea, Yugoslavia, Türkiye, Hungary, Finland etc. to have more of their own vehicles, and some to even have their own independent tech trees.
On that note, I would be okay with having top tier Leopard 2A5, PT-91 Twardy, Strv 122B, M1A1SA and M1A1AIM tanks added to it’s top tier with this fashion either as the abovementioned drop-down menu or as event and squadron vehicles.
War Thunder’s matchmaking already makes players face a plethora of different AFVs, so I don’t think that a nation having many different types of AFVs would cause much of an issue or imbalance that already exists in the game (IF it does).
Thank you for your time if you’ve read my message, and I hope I didn’t break any forum-rules if there are any, as I’m new here.
Hey there, I didn’t notice that before, thanks.
And yes, you’re right, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia (together with CzR) have some interesting vehicles too. PT-94 Goryl, my beloved, too bad you were only a mock-up. War Thunder, please add them too…
Yep, the Shershen is supposed to be able to fire 5 different missile types, the only one known is the R-27 but apparently also includes western donated and locally made missiles (maybe some form of the Dnipro?)
I think it would be easier to get the point across with an updated tree image (I’m not actually sure when it was last updated) though I’m guessing some of the unique vehicles posted lack enough information.
Tbh seeing as Sweden and Israel have full blown trees, helis and naval don’t seem to be an issue (even then Ukraine has a nice batch of options).
The only issue I see would be air because of the air roster being small. That being said, I feel the ground forces can make up for it in terms of local vehicles and upgrades in ground.

One thing I’ve actually wanted to ask is wether the Ukrainian Peoples Republic had built/modified any of it’s inherited navy, I’ve tried to look but details are quite scarce.
