Ukroboronprom" and KNDS BE (Mecar) are creating the production facilities for ammunition (caliber 30x165 mm) , used in Soviet 30-mm automatic guns installed on BMP-2 and BTR-4
We can now expect some good APDS or APFSDS for anything that uses 2A42/2A72 in the near future

YES! I’ve been hoping to see more confirmation of MECAR deliveries. BTR-4E’s and BTR-3E’s with 30mm M929 APFSDS-T is pretty money and helps solidify there higher BR’s.

Yes, but Im not sure if it would be better than the S-300PMU.
The S-300V was primarily for Ballistic Missiles, while the S-300P(MU) was for aircraft.
And honestly, Gaijin will go the lazy route and introduce something like one model of the S-300, rather than going into the intricacies for something players might never touch/wont be a tech-tree thing.

Okay, so I was browsing the internet and learned that this tanks is actually not a BM Oplot zr. 2009 as I thought, but a new Oplot named Oplot-2M, made in 2021. Does anyone know of any changes from BM Oplot zr. 2009 to Oplot-2M? Also, this vehicle could be foldered with BM Oplot zr. 2009 in a tech tree to add another domestically made Ukrainian vehicle to a top tier lineup if it does get added to a UA TT.

I’m 100% for impleting an independant Ukraine vehicle and aircraft tree!
Ukraine has a long standing army (since 1991, fall of the USSR) and features a mix of older and modern vehicles and airplanes.
It would be a great addition to the game.
