That’s probably one of the more interesting ideas that’s popped up. I’ve also been helping with a similar proposal. Focusing mainly on the naval side of things. Surprisingly, it’s turned into a very potent TT and includes a bunch of Battleships courtesy of the State of Slovenes, Croats, and Serbs. We’re trying to follow the Long Term list in its entirety, so we ended up adding a bunch of Ukrainian ships as well, including a few Ukrainian battleships.

I wish it was a real modification but yes, unfortunately it was welded to the Stryker for appearance purposes. I’m sure we’ll see a real one soon though considering everything is getting a Parus, Spys, etc. module.

I don’t really understand these fan made tech-trees being this big. Gaijin would NEVER add the tech-tree in this state to the game, that’s what feels off to me. Make an actual minor nation tech tree, stop treating it as a major nation (it will never be that in-game, even if it was added by some miracle)
making it big gives more options to what can stay and what can go.

the tech trees that are fan made aren’t expected to be introduced exactly as seen, think of it as more of a library / concept

oh of course … people tend to mix geo-politics with the game mechanics.
Yes, there’s a flag, but the community is more interested in the actual machines (works of art) and the capabilities. [yes, slight biasness will seep in and might contribute to some decisions]
Like, the main reason we dont want Ukr as subtree inside Ru tree is coz of bloatedness. The existing tree is already large but there’s so much left to add there, that there’s no need of a subtree per se.
So why not go for separate approach?
The suggested Ru tree is actually humongous with all stuffs if added.

I agree with this, but if Russia must get a subtree I think it should be the Belorusia and maybe some other nations that operate Soviet equipment but are somehow unique
Belarus doesn’t offer much besides a few one offs, those can be thrown into the tree without a release of a sub tree. Iran would be the best pick if not this one.
