Best guess, Typhoon will come December, likely with Aim-9M / Aim-9Li + Aim-120B or Cs.
The Typhoon is about equal with some jets we have in game like the F15C MSIP II. But not all. As per the rules, US and USSR need to at least equal if not ahead before anyone else is able to catch up. Unfortunately Germany is just going to have to be Patient in this regard until then.

What is concerning is there’s still no F-18 or F-14D listed in the next leaklist. And we know Eurofighter is better than the F-18. Makes me think they’ll drop F-18 and other aircrafts in December but not Eurofighter/Rafale.
Note that China, Germany, and Russia are the ones “suffering” and not UK/Italy.
So there is the possibility of new Russian/Chinese aircrafts along with F-18 in December but not Rafale/Eurofighter.

Timeline still fits. F-18A could come October update and then an appropriate F-18C variant come alongside them in December.

Not unless October update is a more ground focused update. If Thunderskill is anything to go by, Italy/France/UK are the ones doing well while Israel/China/Germany/Russia are doing worse. Israel is allegedly supposed to get their F-15C equivalent, China is supposed to get J-10A but that still might suffer due to supposedly just 36 countermeasures, this may warrant J-11B the next update after just to catch up to NATO. So I don’t think the answer is Eurofighter just yet when the Gripens are statistically doing well the most.
F-15C MSIP II is already in the game.
Its weapons: AIM-120 and 9M are already on other platforms.
Its mechanical PD radar technology is already on other platforms.
The primary thing Typhoon does better is turnfights… which against AMRAAM-issiles is a case for disaster.

Supposedly Eurofighter has more missiles than F-15C MSIP II taking away Su-27SM’s advantage, better energy retention allowing it to keep speed better while dodging fox 3s and returning fox 3s back. Allegedly rhe Eurofighter also has better radar gimbal better allowing it to pre-notch while guiding missiles in. So it isn’t as simple as “just another F-15C”.
yes and no, if its modeled correctly then yeah its more powerful but if its not modeled kinda like the UK phantoms not having PD for 2 years then i don’t see why it cant be added. a Tranche 1 EF with aim 9m’s and 120’s would be fine probably the best fighter right now but not by huge leaps and bounds. Hell you could add the prototypes with Tornado engines so at least Germany and the UK can have native aircraft at top tier

Statistics are not how to balance a game, balance airframes on each other.
Gripen SA - 4 R darter missiles (havent used them but hear they are pretty mid) Aim9M is great and the airframe is great, BOL pods for countermeasures are massively nerfed.
F-15C MSIP-II 8 AIM120A that means 1 v 1 the F-15 can send 8 BVR missiles how can the Gripen ever hope to compete?
As for statistics in air battles the teams are usually mixed as everyone wants to play as the USA
The F15c is a double engine heavy aircraft, and the Gripen is a single engine light, and the bomb load is not comparable
It does for game balance.
F-15 turns and accelerates at a similar level to the Gripen, It’s Radar is equal it has proper sized counter measures that work. Why would you fly the Gripen when the F-15 is just superior?
What about other single-engine light aircraft? That balances it out? I looked at your data card, and you haven’t played any Gripen at all, and Gripen maneuvers are much better than F15s
I like the F16c better than the F15c, it has better acceleration and cornering performance, but it only has 6 rounds of 120 missiles, but it is enough
You should use the F16c as an example instead of the F15c, because the f15 is a double engine heavy machine and the F16c is a single engine light machine
I honestly don’t know why it couldn’t be added now without IRIS-Ts. Sure it would be the best dog fighter probably and the best plane overall but how is that different than when the Gripen got added? Why can’t Germany hold the crown for once, at least one update. Since I started playing I don’t remember Germany top tier air being anything but a shadow of USA or USSR. Lagging behind other nations at least on update.
