The ES area only, for full sweep across the whole field won’t be as fast, but still dramatically quicker than CAPTOR-M, with instant target updates.

Think about it like the su30s pesa, which is also a hydraulically steered esa. If you know how that works then you shouldn’t worry about eurofighters.
Although that one max scan is limited to its esa gimbal limits, unsure if aesa eurofighter is also limited like that one is, if it would be able to scan ±100 or stuck at ±60

Is it’s electronic scan ±70 or ±60?

Doesn’t actually say, brochure for Mk2 does use 70° as an example of typical fixed plate AESA though.

Gaijin will probably model it as ±70 then, considering that the brochure shows it as an example and also that captor m was also ±70. So same as Rafael before mechanical steering, quite good.

The E scan radar is part of Phase 4 enhancement which includes AMK so that should probably be added to the suggestion
