+1, seems fun. Although I really want a faster turret traverse.

I think it was a IFV.Otherwise if they actually wanted to use this as a SPAA they probably would have modified the turret.

Apparently at least one was also seen at the 29th Independence Day parade in 2000.

Thank you for this picture. How did you even manage to find this?
The tank in the middle seems to have a taller turret than the others. Maybe these tanks received a modified turret at some point.

I found another image. It would have been impossible to find this image without the image you shared. Seems like it did receive a modified turret at some point.

Turns out this tank actually used a single barrel gun

sadly yes… i saw the pic above and i was honestly thinking… DAYUM thats ugly

Yup it’s quite ugly. Now it seems like this tank was a IFV.

yeah but a pure bred IFV with only anti infantry roles in mind. tanks are far from a afterthought

Apparently there is one chinese single barrel 37mm AA gun called Type 55. I’m not sure if Bangladesh army used it. If Bangladesh had that gun then maybe that gun was used instead of Type 65/74

Looks like this spaa had received a new sight at some point. Ignore the antenna and solar panel, those were added when it was converted into a apc(it was possibly used as a command vehicle for AA guns)

+1 only if the turret traverse speed is improved from what it was on the type 62

It should be slightly faster since the new 37mm gun is way lighter than the previous gun.

front view. Ignore the fake(possibly) 85mm gun.

I may have figured out the timeline of these turrets. I’ll share that in another reply.
