No, the Type 3 machine gun is based on the M2 Browning machine gun, and the Type 93 machine gun is based on the Hotchkiss M1930 machine gun.
The ammunition is the same, but everything else is different. Different effective range, different spread, different rate of fire, etc.

I believe this vehicle has a better place in Enlisted, rather than War Thunder, since it only gets MGs and Japan did not have many MGs (or better said rounds for their MGs) capable of penetrating armor.
They should have a huge 150 mm cannon mounted at the rear.

Gotta be honest. I don’t see a use for this thing. I think it would be funny as some kind of parasite craft for a naval ship though.
But if America has a 1.0 tank thst only has 50 cals then I see no reason we can’t have this.
