It has the same anti air-missile systems as the German ones; its problem is the quantity of missiles. The Chinese system, on the other hand, has missiles that are very similar to the strela missiles.
IRIS-T SLM and SLS are different btw

Japan isn’t even supposed to get a new SPAA. The devs said “give an spaa to everyone that doesn’t have a multi vehicle spaa” not give an spaa to everyone that has a bad one
