where leclerc basket ???
everyone that has one should get them
cause according to devs its a buff so heres leclerc buff
If you can’t kill a Russian tank with a penetrative shot, then unfortunately it’s on you. Those tanks are already packed tightly enough together which shouldn’t be a problem in killing them.
As if Gaijin’s coding doesn’t roll a dice whenever you hit stuff
Might as well say it’s a skill issue when you land a 500kg bomb directly onto of a tank’s turret and it ends up surviving with only broken tracks and MGs
pseudo-realism for thee but not for me
That moment also happens with Leo 2’s when you hit the side fuel tank above tracks
Well yeah, that applies to all tanks, not just Leos
Same for when you hit tracks, especially when moving that it just deletes the shell no matter how much pen it had
I don’t get how T-series tank armor penetration works—especially on the T-90M. Those side spall liners eat shells like nothing. Usually, they get one-shotted from the side, but sometimes they take a hit and nothing happens. And without a turret basket, the autoloader can sometimes save you by giving you a chance to one-shot before you die. As for NATO tanks with turret baskets—like the Abrams, and the Strv or Leopard—it’s okay. I just don’t feel invulnerable anymore when driving the Strv 122 series. Leave the Leclerc alone
I dont think they should be added last. If they can be done tomorrow, then do it.
Other than the leclerc are there any top tiers that actually had them in real life that’s still missing them?
you are asking russian devs to nerf russian vehicles
its impossible basically
I didn’t get it devs must paint hydraulic drive on T seriest turret rotation mechanism just because you wan’t that ?
Did they ever give a reason to why turret baskets effect turret rotation?
Like I’m all for having more stuff to hit, just not when it makes no sense.
Ah, so just jibber jabber from them. neat
That’s literally the only way to let people get something by shooting at the side of the hull.
Idk, Maybe if they modeled the actual electrical/hydraulic wires in the basket, i’d be alright with it.
The basket should be there to stop fragments from hitting crew with the chance to partially disable the turret drive on a direct hit.
Maybe for Leopard 2 with spall liners Abrams didn’t had that feature so it was vunerable to side shots now i think it can save one or two crew member occasionnaly.
So you want an additional layer of repairable spall liners with little to no downsides.
I’m glad you aren’t in charge of balancing.
Wait, are you claiming that turret baskets stop spall?
Guy I’m replying to definitely does.
