Thats the BS i didn’t understand or buy from Smin. They shoukd have waited until there were more vehicles with modelled baskets. The Abrams and Leopards were just slapped with a nerf under a vague half-promise more woukd come. Consideiring the autoloaders looked baked into the T-series horizontal drives, knocking them out should also disable the drive.
Read my message more carefully next time.
I’ve played M1s and in my opinion the amount of moaning about it is astronomically high when compared to the actual capabilities of said tanks.
So, turret rings should absorb spall then, just like auto loaders if were being fair.
This would help decrease the engine also getting hit so you know, we can have a chance to fire back.
As if the T72B3 T80BVM were empty in that area of the vehicle and simply ate all the shots there like Leopard and Abrams did, lol it seems like the crying hasn’t ended yet
YEAH IVE PLAY TREMENDOUSLY MORE THAN YOU(sry caplocks)
u played less than 200 games on abrams in total and not even those on 10.7/11.3
ur experiences are inconsequential compare to mine
it would stop you from aiming at the guy shooting you tho
and you’re incredbly screwed if you were facing towards to far to the sides or rear since it would be stuck aiming a bit elevated
No theyre about equal, if you can shoot once you can do those things, but if you lose a turret ring you can also do those things, in both cases you have an okay chance of being able to deal with one lone enemy but if there are multiple then there is nothing you can do
Something I haven’t really seen people talk about. Technically, Russian tanks don’t have a turret basket in the way you think. However, the turret basket is kinda a part of the autoloader itself, meaning if you were to damage the autoloader, the turret should not be able to rotate.
absolutely, gaijin just doesnt like nerfing russia as much as US so havent changed the one variable that would make T series autoloaders stop the turrets
If gaijin is going to release a “feature” it should be standardized across all nations and tanks at the same time. There is absolutely NO reason why they should trickle release things. They could easily just save it for future updates for when everything is completed.
They wonder why people are quick to point to bias…
The sad part is, they were working on adding the basket to the Abrams but completely overlooked (probably ignored intentionally) the lower mantlet armor being completely wrong and under protected.
you clearly dont know what you are talking about because with one shot you can easily kill or disable any tank in the game, where as without a turret drive you can not aim accurately enough to do so to not even get into the fact that often the turret basket and engine get hit
so no, turret basket is much worse in its current implementation and anyone trying to say otherwise is either bad enough at the game to not understand or intentionally lying
they spent all that time modeling the turret basket instead of fixing any of the dozens of accepted bug reports that prove the abrams is underpreforming in game
