For one, the loader is empty, for two, their shot was above the loader, and three, the shot in general was bad.
There is a specific zone on the side where you shoot and can KO all three crew, but only the turret crew are required for a KO, and he shot the ‘thru-commander to engine’ 45° path.
So this was more along the lines of unlucky and skill issue.
Good thing Gaijin doesn’t make the game much harder and annoying to play just because “that is how it is irl”.
Well, Abrams just received the T-series treatment, where there’s no more black holes in the middle of the hull where rounds just pass by and make your loader orange.
Had some situations like that and I took some time to see what happened in the server replay. Guess what, my shot was bad to begin with and I’ve shot through the empty side of the carousel and only got a single crew member + autoloader disabled.
Thats the BS i didn’t understand or buy from Smin. They shoukd have waited until there were more vehicles with modelled baskets. The Abrams and Leopards were just slapped with a nerf under a vague half-promise more woukd come. Consideiring the autoloaders looked baked into the T-series horizontal drives, knocking them out should also disable the drive.
Read my message more carefully next time.
I’ve played M1s and in my opinion the amount of moaning about it is astronomically high when compared to the actual capabilities of said tanks.
So, turret rings should absorb spall then, just like auto loaders if were being fair.
This would help decrease the engine also getting hit so you know, we can have a chance to fire back.
As if the T72B3 T80BVM were empty in that area of the vehicle and simply ate all the shots there like Leopard and Abrams did, lol it seems like the crying hasn’t ended yet
YEAH IVE PLAY TREMENDOUSLY MORE THAN YOU(sry caplocks)
u played less than 200 games on abrams in total and not even those on 10.7/11.3
ur experiences are inconsequential compare to mine
it would stop you from aiming at the guy shooting you tho
and you’re incredbly screwed if you were facing towards to far to the sides or rear since it would be stuck aiming a bit elevated
No theyre about equal, if you can shoot once you can do those things, but if you lose a turret ring you can also do those things, in both cases you have an okay chance of being able to deal with one lone enemy but if there are multiple then there is nothing you can do
Something I haven’t really seen people talk about. Technically, Russian tanks don’t have a turret basket in the way you think. However, the turret basket is kinda a part of the autoloader itself, meaning if you were to damage the autoloader, the turret should not be able to rotate.
absolutely, gaijin just doesnt like nerfing russia as much as US so havent changed the one variable that would make T series autoloaders stop the turrets
