Yes! The BTR-90/M have neutral steering.
Yes! The BTR-90/M have neutral steering.
A lot of people have told me Russia has Good Heli’s, Air, AA and Ground so it doesn’t matter Germany and Sweden have powerful ground options.
Russian Heli’s don’t have Fire and Forget missiles like the Tiger UHT.
Kh-38’s are really good but you won’t find them on an aircraft less than 12.7 and you have Access to 6 vs 18 Brimstones.
With the coming update all the top tier AA’s should all hopefully be basically inline with each other.
But that doesn’t mean every Russian player has finished all of the other tech trees. Everything should be BR’d based on its own performance.
It’s also hard to get into an aircraft without solid ground vehicles, (I’m currently trying to Ace the 2s25m for a more reliable way to get into an aircraft fast).
Leopards outperform every Russian MBT on their overall ease of use, and then you get five of them in a single line.
This encourages ground heavy lineups and basically guarantees a high win rate, not that it will change anything but the best Leo 2’s and Strv’s need to be up BR’d.
Gaijin need to stop giving every nation a Leopard 2 also.
Is this a joke?
Russian helis arent good because they dont have FnF missiles.
But at the same time 18 SAL missiles which leave the operating aircraft extremely exposed for the entire duration of the attack are as good as 6x Kh38MTs?
Am i getting it right?
Didn’t you know, man?
- Be the nation that has the most advantages be it BR-wise, implementations by the Devs or through literal game code.
Unironically say that the nation is bad.
Lol. Lmao even.
Cute flag abuse, btw.
I mean this double meter right here makes me unbelievably mad, moreso when helicopters operate entirely differently from aircraft.
SAL missiles (or laser guided bombs for that matter) can be efficiently used only in uncontested airspace, most TGPs simply dont have gimball limits to keep guiding the ordnance while defending
Whereas Helis with SAL (or saclos for that matter) missiles dont have to deal with this stuff as they can hover in place only partially exposed, and also can just dip below the cover if things get spicy.
The FnF missiles aren’t even all that serious yet, either. Coding for them is still busted and they miss more than they hit with only guaranteed hits against stopped or slow-moving targets in complete open.
When their pathing and trajectories get corrected, then we can have a serious conversation about their superiority compared to SAL/SACLOS armaments.
Also, which nation again has had and still has a fantasy missile that cannot be intercepted and completely outranges all of the SPAA that it faces rendering its launching platform aircraft completely untouchable?
Oh, right, Russia. Only Russia.
And for quite a while, the Kamovs with the Vikhirs were also untouchable by SPAA.
People like to memory hole that fact for some reason, though. Curious.
honestly i dont think RU TT suffer
i think the tank tree is insuferable to grind, there is only sadness in that tree
It’s called throwing, but I don’t expect kids these days to know what that means.
You still on that absolute braindead mindset of deliberately throwing to lower Russian high tier stats?
You are just mid at best, accepting that now will save you the headache later.
Sure, sure, whatever. Mid at best. This game isn’t worth actually putting in effort even for the tech trees I like due to how terribly imbalanced this game is.
Now a balanced game like Hunt: Showdown, on the other hand. That’s worth the effort to perform.
i have one tank on RU tt and has more battle than u bruv(talkin to Panzer btw)
thats absurd
If Leopard A1 and M60A3 TTS can sit at 9.0, so can T-55AM.
Than go and play it and dont let Russian TT live rent free in your mind. Only OP thing is the 38MT which doesnt exist, even the range of it is not the problem if it were laser guided since other nations have LJDAM too with 20km range and with GNSS obviously and none talks about those because they arent russian. Removing MT from the line up is something I am definitely for but tanks, they are just sad which doesnt mean they need a buff, they just are sad to use and if you bothered to actually grind to them and use them you would know.
Assuming you have access to top tier air or heli tree at all, if you don’t you suffer on the ground, which you need to do well in to get into an aircraft anyway. Those brimstones work perfectly fine against AA and the amount of times they have kept me from leaving spawn is infuriating.
But I can’t claim to have used Brimstones or Tiger UHT, I’d fully support nerfing or removing the kh-38’s from some aircraft or adding a equivalent Nato missile, but then what are you going to do about the leopard meta? (but would rather not have this sort of armament much at all as the gameplay isn’t enjoyable).
Also Kh-38’s tracking isn’t as foolproof as you might imagine either, it often takes several attempts to acquire the correct target and you have to more or less be flying straight at it.
But you have smaller more maneuverable aircraft with the typhoon that can more reliably manage at closer ranges anyway.
Feel free to nitpick though. Russia and Germany are by no means either Bad nations. But in terms of ground Germany is undertiered, which is what I have been trying to get at. They have 5 of the best tanks in the game and it’s miserable to play against them.
Especially when they also have the comfort of camping objectives and you are forced to play aggressively with your one decent tank, T-80BVM.
wait what? like youre not sure i have access to top tier air or heli?
Brimstones work exactly as well as LGBs against ground targets (or AAs for that matter), trading AoE effect of LGBs for combination of speed and HEAT warhead.
They do well in uncontested airspace. What was the last time you played CAS in uncontested airspace?
unlike helicopter that can engage from semi-concealed position, aircraft with brimstones or LGBs is much more exposed during its attack run. Helicopters also have much easier time keeping the target within its targeting FoV as they, you know, hower in place.
This is the maximall horizontal gimball limit for the Typhoons TGP, not even full 90° to target according to the RWR. Not to mention the fact that entiriety of your upper hemisphere is blocked by the aircraft itself due to TGP being mounted at the bottom of the plane, meaning you cant pull in towards your target without loosing track.
and unlike Kh-38MTs which are FnF, you have to babysit Brimstones for the entire duration of their flight, which at max range of 15km is almost a whole minute due to their abysmal speed.
fun fact, the Brimstone is so slow that i launched it, took the screenshot above, kept flying straight, and by the time i passed the ADATS the missile was still 30 seconds from impact.
so now you either have to
A) be a sitting duck for a whole minute to guide in the brimstone, severely limiting your range of movement as the gimball limit of TGP has a limited window from which it can “see” the target or
B) move closer and launch from well within enemy air defense net, making time to target shorter…and still being sitting duck for the entire duration of the brimstone flight
to fully guide in all your Brimstones to targets from max range would take almost 18 WHOLE MINUTES. if that number doesnt sound absolutely insane to you i dont know what to tell you.
ok but lets suppose you “queue” your brimstones, as in launch one when the other one is still in flight. you still arrive at the same issue of their speed being absolutely abysmal, which means that they wont have energy for any sort of wild flight course changes, less so for tracking a moving target.
so to conclude no, brimstones arent fine in most scenarios.
so do mavericks, but once the missile is off the rails you are free to defend in any way you like. and unlike Kh-38MTs, mavericks dont get IOG so they are easily defeated by smoke. not to mention Kh-38MTs are getting GPS guidance next patch.
again, TGP limits. If it wants to hit target, it needs to keep it in FoV of the TGP.
I suppose do the same thing I was told by BVM players before addition of 2A7V.
Aim for weakspots.
