thats precisely what i was talking about. they really couldnt give more of a middle finger to the community. they are just pushing out cashgrabs atp as much as they can and all the new players that dont care about the health of the game just eat it all up. its disappointing to see the game getting ruined.

Is this seriously Gaijin’s answer to this situation? Is Gaijin going to pay for their time and travel to go out of their way to “borrow” someone else’s playstation to get access to what they bought that Gaijin is keeping from them by not fixing the transfer issue?
What a joke.
Well, looks like proof that Gaijin is purposefully keeping us stuck in this situation.
Maybe Gaijin should consider refunding people who no longer have access to a console.

It’s totally on the person who purchases something in the console store without owning the console anymore, not us.
Sure, but what is on you all is how is how unclear about what happened when the account was linked in the first place. There was nothing mentioned about needing to keep the console to access features and purchases. Nor was anything mentioned about being unable to play other games, or losing progress in other games already played.
Instead of wasting time porting the Xbox/Microslop version of the game to PC, Yall should have spent that time fixing this issue.
At least then the problem would have been fixed for everyone rather than leaving the Sony crowd out.

You mean like every single console game out there works? Do you really think that Microsoft or Sony would allow us to write such disclaimers in store descriptions even if we had such a strange idea to state the obvious?
What needed to be disclaimed needed to be disclaimed regardless. In this instance disclaiming all that needed to be would have hurt Gaijin more than the console companies. (Oh hey, btw, Xbox people need to keep paying for their monthly subscription to the Microslop store if they ever want to buy things, and Sony people need to not only do the same, but keep access to a working console or else we wont give them anything they buy.)
Saying that the console needed to be kept, as well as to keep paying for access to their online services does nothing but help said console companies.
Meanwhile it is less incentive for people to link accounts knowing the extra baggage involved.
What should have been blatantly obvious to Gaijin is that people wouldnt link accounts to play the game 2 different ways. Why bother to keep playing both PC and console when everyone plays matches together anyways?
People were linking accounts to move from console to PC. Once someone has a decent PC, why play anything on console?
And if anyone happened to have progress/purchases in any other Gaijin titles on PC, whoops there goes all of that out the window without any warning.

Well, for me, the game has gone from being a main game to something I only log into occasionally. But if making a quick buck is more important than a large part of the player base, then in my eyes the game is dying. The best example is World of Tanks, which started exactly like this three years ago, and War Thunder is in its second year and you’re overlooking one warning sign after another.

Me too. I only play the game to keep access to these crap forums so once Gaijin is done putting unrealistic anime chicks into the game maybe they will find the time to fix this issue.

First off, I’d like to thank our dear gromvoiny for kindly taking his precious time to visit this section. It’s really nice to see a dev in here once in a while, especially the since it’s actually the dev that announced the suspension of the service 863 days ago.
Secondly, I love how his answer to the players’ prayers pretty much translate to “It’s all your fault, shouldn’t have got a console account in the first place.”. It really fits into the corporate spirit bvvd gave off in his last Q&A video. Good job on ya!
Personally, I’m happy to see this level of honesty in devs, it really showcases how the company is progressing in terms of transparency. I’d be really thrilled if we can have this kind of participation from the devs in other hot topics such as turret baskets.
I’m not a console player so I’m not exactly affected by this. However based on how frustrated a friend of mine is about not being able to transfer, it’s a pretty awful situation for everyone involved.

There’s a guy who legit made a script and said Gaijin could use it. It’s way back at post 884. Dude straight up has a whole presentation on how Gaijin could use it. We should all tag/reply to Gromvoiny with the message just to make them aware of the potential solution. Or we could keep it to ourselves so they don’t take the post down.
