Mann, been playing since 2015 - I just missed out the first April-May Sale and now I have to miss another sale because it not on playstation lol. Man the fomo kills me because I had somewhat a chance to do the transfer 2+ years ago but this just sucks.

I would really enjoy being able to use all of the features of this game since moving from console. I also don’t want to create a PC account and lose the hundreds of dollars I’ve already spent on this game. Why can’t y’all find the time or energy to bring back these transfers so that people will spend more money on this game? We don’t need new vehicles, we need account transfers, to keep the entirety of your player base happy. As far as I am concerned, this company doesn’t care about its entire player base. I amongst many others have waited 3 years for this transfer to happen yet it’s still the same answer, “it’s hard :'(”

The way they treat us console gamers is inhumane

I wish we could at least get a definite yes or no answer at this point, no updates on the process or what is being changed to re implement it. It feels intentionally malicious to the point where i would prefer they come out and just say “it takes too many resources and isnt worth the profit so we will not continue” because at least then we have an ANSWER

I really love the fact that not even the support knows aboudt this, the offical Gaijin Support

I don’t understand, they say it’s not a priority right now, but what is more important that’s been waiting for nearly 3 years? Submarines? No one plays naval anyway. Infantry? I doubt it’s been in the work for this much time and they could anyway delay it for 1 month max while working on this. And I don’t know if they don’t understand they could make sooo much more money from people who will start buying if they get access to the marketplace or what. Maybe there is something we don’t know with Sony and Microsoft or they can just make more money with more bmpt like vehicles.

it is very frustrating, first of all keeping it closed for longer time will only make the number of requests higher and higher, second of all by allowing the account unlink gaijin will make a lot of money from console players buying GJN coins, premium packs (not all console accounts still have acces to their consoles to by packs) and other stuff. People have been waiting for so long now, and i know a few fellas who quit this game because of this reason. Its very annoying and its taking way too long than it should be.

Lol least they could do is have open windows monthly to do transfers - but no, lets force them to wait :)

What else can we do at this point?

thats a shame

Hello all,

Most of you probably don’t know me, but I wanted to share my thoughts regarding the console account transfer situation, because I know I’m not the only player affected by it.

After a lot of consideration, I’ve decided that I’ll be stepping away from War Thunder once my current Premium time expires.

The lack of clear communication and updates regarding account transfers has unfortunately caused me to lose confidence in the situation. As someone who has invested a significant amount of time into the game since 2014, the continued uncertainty surrounding this issue has become too frustrating for me personally to continue playing, streaming, and creating content for the game.

I believe players would greatly appreciate more transparency and clearer communication regarding this topic, even if there is no immediate solution available.

I genuinely hope things improve for both the community and the players still waiting for answers in the future.

BTW - Everyone who says “why cant they bring Gaijin market to console” is forgetting that it isnt entirely Gaijins decision, i have a lot of progress on my PS4 and I would love to transfer my progress etc. but the reason why we dont have access to the market is mostly Sony/Xbox whow want more control over transactions/sales on their platform, annoyingly PSN is most controlling over this, all sales for WT gold or packs have to be done through the PS Store.

Fortnite, Rocket League, Warframe, COD, Genshin, Apex, Destiny all of them managed to work around Sony/Microsoft restrictions way better than Gaijin did.

People act like Sony/xbox is physically stopping Gaijin from improving the system but Gaijin also chose to keep the PC and console separated functions. The Gaijin Market, GJN coins, coupons, account restrictions, transfer limitations, different pack availability etc. are all their design choices. It becomes clear that Gaijin prefers maintaining their PC economy instead of fully adapting the system for console players like other companies did. (look at the game examples above)

So yes, Sony and Microsoft definitely play a part especially with transaction control. BUT acting like Gaijin has no responsibility for how restrictive the experience feels is just not true.

Yeah, what does market restriction have to do with bringing transfers back? The topic is about transfers.
We all know why there is no market for us, that’s exactly why we want transfers back.
