Correct, for now, as stated in this thread many times by Stona.
It’s likely more a matter of what they choose to prioritize. You are fully allowed to disagree with that choice and voice your criticism of it (as long as you do so without breaking the rules of course), but this seems to be the case at least.
The correct wording would be is why they do nothing about it and prioritize other stuff over this because it’s such a big topic actually. They even said it themselves that the volume of applies is so high! So that means it should be a priority situation if so many people suffer from it right?
My questions would be:
Is there any work done about it at all or any plans to move forward in this situation? (use of AI?)
Also why is this not on your priority list when so many people suffer from it? (the high volume of applies)
Why is it taking so long to come with another plan of attack for this situation? (transfer maybe 1000 per 2 weeks or something)
Good questions. We keep looking for a new answer because we currently know nothing, and just saying “no” for 2+ years in response to questions neither helps nor satisfies anyone.
At least acknowledgement of the issues existance and where it sits on priority lists would be better than the non-answers we get. Or gaijin can continue to forget about us, they seem pretty good at that
We’d like to know more details on whats being done or where this is on the priority list. We’re understandably frustrated because our accounts have been in limbo for 2+ years
I have no insights into development and no contact with the developers, all i can do is share information that is already available in this thread.
The answer to those things are still the same as it has previously been and it has been repeated by the Community Manager many times in this thread:
If that changes they will announce it.
I fully understand everyone’s frustration, but saying that no answers have been given isn’t correct either, it’s just not the answer that you would like to hear.
This event is also a test for a new permanent game mode and several new mechanics that may or may not come to the game depending on how the tests go. Most events of this type have been tests of some kind for potential new things for the game.
When you see… “Transfer Account,” what do you think? It must be something simple, right? We’re in 2026, the 21st century, and this is extremely difficult for Gaijin. What other companies have been doing for years can’t be done here. But then you think, would this harm the company? The answer is completely the opposite; it would boost the purchasing power of players who have console accounts, but they (Gaijin) don’t want that. I haven’t been waiting for a revolution in the gaming industry for over two years; I’m just waiting for A SIMPLE ACCOUNT TRANSFER. I’m tired of begging for this.
Community Managers are able to give official answers and have contact with the developers. Any answers that Stona gives in this thread are official ones.
Hey, I get it. You and the Devs dont like me pointing out the obvious.
But as I have stated before, I am only here because I am FORCED to be here.
Like everyone else in this situation, we have no choice but to wait around on this forum as Gaijin has decided to only announce things, or communicate, about the “transfer” service through this one particular place.
Even though Gaijin has all of our emails and could notify us that way.
Since there has been so little communication, and obviously no actual plan to bring this service back, as more and more people with linked accounts find this forum and gather here trying to find answers the conversation will lead into other categories of Gaijin’s deficiencies.
Especially since Gaijin claims to “not have the manpower to dedicate to this task” yet nothing else ever changes for the better within the game. If we all are not talking, and active within this topic, then Gaijin will claim there is no interest and not bring the service back at all. So we are FORCED to talk about something here.
