Those $80 premiums are selling quite good, especially to the newer players who dont want to face the grind through the tech tree.
Worse hypocrisy Gaijin has ever done was to start selling top BR premiums.
This issue wont ever get any “manpower” (Even though we all know it wouldnt take that many people that long to fix the transfer problem) untill Gaijin starts to see a drop in the current sales.
The lack of progress is just baffling at this point, and the genuine lack of care from the devs and the community as a whole is truly disheartening. At this point i feel like the only way that any attention will be put onto the account transfer service is if a big youtuber makes a video about it, but at this point I’m just loosing hope.
fr. i mean ik wht they said about the process being Semi-Auto and all. but still they should atleast make it to where theres a program with a certain algorythm to auto-accept Applications that are filled out the correct way and have incompleted applications be tossed out or to be reviewed by the Gaijin Team themselves for further approval and such
They should have just taken the extra week and made the transfer (or unlinking) process automated after they made the linking process automated.
But here is another example of Gaijin’s devs short sightedness’.
If there is some manual effort, use offshore cheap contractors and charge a $25 fee to do the transfer or something. I would pay that to port my account. It would be nice if they were transparent so we discuss options in good faith. Right now, it’s not.
Absolutely not. Gaijin already would make money from us by transferring our accounts. And not just in War thunder alone as these transfers affect our ability to play other Gaijin titles as well.
There is absolutely no reason for anyone to advocate for Gaijin to charge us for the service they half cobbled together then stopped caring about.
Gaijin should have thought this service through before ever offering the ability to link accounts from the beginning.

They could finally do account transfers again so many people are waiting for it and the game would be better. Isnt that what you care about? Instead of adding OP vehicles, you could do it again.
We are approaching the 2nd year of it being down, Will it be brought back soon and if so how long till.
I’m also wondering if there is so many inquiries at this point what is going on.

Get moved GAIJIN , we’ve put in so much money&time on accounts registered on the PSN and now have only limited access to the game. Hope you bring the transfer back soon.

yes,they’ ve been dealing with this issue since may 2024 and we’re still getting the message that the account can’t be transferred. with all time and money invested, we can’t use it to its full potential
I’m starting to lose hope, after two years and nothing done, even though the game is going ahead and with the news that soon the sony’s support for PS4 will cease, I really don’t know if it’s still legitimate to put hope in the service automatisation or in a reopening of the service……
