I fully understand that that is still an issue and i hope they bring back the transfer for you guys soon. I was just helping this one user that seemed to thing they couldn’t play on PC at all.
Please don’t jump to conclusions and/or read things that aren’t there.
I won’t be expecting you to know, but why is Gaijin adding more premiums when they can do something a bit better, for example, actually doing the PS/Xbox-PC transfers or fixing server issues, new premiums are hardly what I call “more important”
i agree with you bro , gaijin don´t care if the player as issues , they only care about getting more money from premiuns packages ( which can be added in tech tree lines ) , I waited about 3 years to transfer my account to pc.
i can understand gaijin as a company and no one would say something when you bring out 1 or 2 premiums on ech major update but this shit got out of controll now dont make the same mistakes that world of tanks have done with the cash grap shit i can remember even befor the console merch only on playstation over 50k people now betwen 10-15k in world of tanks console so pls dont forget the people that make you this sucsesfull and what could be more important as fixing game and player issues like the account transfer
I do find that true, that it would be alright if they put in one new premium, but won’t be if it’s a literal copy and paste with these new ones they have added, even putting the market place vehicles as packs for consoles would be good, at least we can get them
I don’t know, Game Masters only handle in-game chat and name bans. We have no insight into development and no contact with the DEV’s (we are in practise on the same level as any other player in all other areas of the game).
In general though; any game ever have DEV’s that work in teams with specialized areas, so those that work on creating 3D models are not the same people that work on game mechanics or server structure or the interface , etc. So one team continuing to work on what they usually do isn’t going to effect the work of the other teams.

I have no idea. As i understand it it’s possible that they currently aren’t working on it at all and are prioritizing other things.

I get your frustration but there is nothing i can do about it.

It isn’t really two years of nothing, they stopped accepting transfer requests in may 2024 due to a massive backlog of unhandled requests. It took them A LONG TIME after closing it to even get through all the requests they got, in april 2024 they had thousands of players in the queue that they were working their way through semi manually while new ones were still being added.
I don’t know how long that took though but i’m guessing several more months of work after may to get through that queue before that time is freed up to focus on other tasks.
They won’t re-open the requests before making a way more automated system so that they don’t have to manually work on every request in the same way as previously (which i hope they do relatively soon).
This made things even worse for a multi-million dollar company whose developers had known about these problems for over a decade and had no solution. It’s been 20 years since I was a programmer, but even now, I could get something running automatically in that time alone.
It’s not that they can’t, It’s that they are doing other things and currently don’t have time.
i just want the market place so i can get TWO vehicles… make me pay an extra dax for Gaijin Dollars, i just need my collection…
Really disappointing to hear this about a feature that would benefit both the company (increased sales) and customers at the same time. Its not even like this is some earth-shattering request or new mode/feature. Its as if they just dont want our money
The WT market place isnt the only thing affected. We also dont get to participate in any of Gaijin’s vehicle sales, and the tech trees also are different with what premium vehicles are shown.
Also, our play with other Gaijin games is affected as well. ANY purchases and progress we have in the other Gaijin games would be lost in the transfer, so there is no point to even trying to play them, also we cant even play the pc version of Enlisted as we are completely blocked from it.
Sadly, I fired up WOT and it seems they are putting in more effort into their game than Gaijin is currently. The Halloween maps they have are pretty cool, and their “premium” tanks are alot more reasonable in price lately.
What is funny about this, as I pointed out before, is that when they made this process originally they took the time to automate the linking process but then just didnt put any effort into the transfer process. And then complained up a storm about the amount of transfer requests, when they knew full well most people taking the time to link accounts were doing so because they didnt want to keep playing on console.
I reitterate my support for my console brethren. We need to be able to progress them to PCs like the rest of us.
