We do get it, but it’s not the email your Xbox account is registered to.
That you enter on Microsoft’s side, we don’t know it and don’t need it for login purposes.

I’m fully aware of that. Since the transfer isn’t provided for over a year at this point anyway it doesn’t matter.
Dumb question If doing the account transfers are a big deal or a hassle why not add all the past event premiums for console for us to buy with money or grind in game? Not give them away for free of course. I honestly just want to be able to buy the is7 the object 292
You can get most of the rare vehicles as a random drop from skins trophies.
It would be better if you just didn’t answer
it would be much faster to login. without connected mail you need to login via Xbox Live every time you start the game and that takes time as the Game browser is slow.
Only like a .00001% chance for a tank random drop, with no protection from repeats…
The “loot” crates are probably the biggest reason why the console companies have limited gaijin the way they have.
That and the match maker in WT actively punishes people who try to play for free.
This isnt making any sense, if I am entering my information into Microsoft, and Gaijin doesnt get any of it, then how do you know whos account I am logging into? Gajin has to get some information of somesort to be able to identify who I am, and what information I am trying to access.
But again, this is stuff that was talked about before and is irrelevant now. Most people here, including me, have their emails linked for the purposes of not playing on console anymore.
We are all just waiting on you all to stop making copy paste premium vehicles and take a week to automate this issue.
You really care about this part of the community uh guys?
Chests are probably one of the biggest if not the biggest risk of getting something that you will almost never use, the odds are that abysmal it’s better to abandon the dreams of getting one on PS or Xbox then to actually keep doing it because there’s a point where it is not worth it because it IS not worth it, it’s quite literally gacha without the “pity system”
they only announce it here, it used to be a different forum page but now its this one, yes its opened 2 times for a few weeks at a time over the last 3 years
I said that we aren’t getting your email from Microsoft, there’s a big difference between that and no user credentials at all.
Most server databases don’t rely on email as it’s not a permanent identifier - on many platforms, including our own, it can be changed by the user himself or via support ticket etc.
Instead, unique users ids (decimal or hexadecimal) are used for purposes of identification and login.
I can stop replying about it if you’d like, just thought you might learn something interesting about game development and shed some misconceptions.
Or you can start replying in ways that make sense and actually inform us about what is going on.
This could have been mentioned months ago for example.
And again, this side of the conversation is pointless as it doenst do anything towards getting my account “unhooked” from its console lock.
It will most likely still be a different forum page. The last couple times it opened they said it would be mentioned on the then current topic, but a new topic was always started.
He did do that?
If the transfer won’t happen in the near future, as has been hinted at several times by now, then maybe just be patient and keep using your Microsoft account…
Now we know why there are no transfers, how it’s hard to do and how high up the priority list it is for the relevant dev department.
If it’s not going to happen soon, then that’s just how it is. If it Will, then we’ll rejoice instead. Untill then… We wait.
As a person waiting almost three years already… being told to “just wait more” is comedy gold to me.
At this point it just makes me want to drop the game and move on something else.
The customer is king in matters of taste. If you don’t want to play, then don’t.
It’s not intended as such. It’s just the sad reality right now. It’s why I’ve always discouraged people of using their console accounts to create a WT console account. Even if you’re only missing out on old event vehicles and skins. For some it’s even worth it to just start over again with an actual gaijin account instead. But that’s a harsh step to take. You can also just enjoy the base game instead. You still have acces to over 90% of all vehicles released ever in war thunder. A couple hundred event vehicles isn’t much in the grand scheme of things, especially not when most of them are 2x or more on the marketplace compared to premium vehicles.
Well brother, as you said, we’re losing content, even if it’s just 10%, we would have wanted it, whether it was 5%, 2%, or 0.5% we want it.
Many of us with accounts older than 10 years (like me) don’t even have a working Xbox or PlayStation anymore, so buying packs or taking advantage of sales isn’t an option.
Honestly, if I could travel back in time, I’d tell my 14-year-old self not to start WT on PS4 :)
But as you said after two or three fully grinded tech tree that’s not the case.
Yeah, I made a new account in 2016 and had my old one deleted when I saw how deals worked for Sony accounts. No transfer or anything. To do that now is obviously even harder.
In that particular response he did. But that response could have also been given way earlier as well. And also him even bringing that up was pointless, none of us with linked accounts here want easier ways to continue using a console account.
Kinda hard when the dev claims they are working on more important stuff, while at the same time not doing anything to make the game better, but just turning out more premiums to buy.
All the “new” game modes they have trialed over the years, but never fully implemented a single one.
People who come to this topic saying “just be patient” while not actually needing, or wanting the service is also comedy at this point. You arent dealing with the frustration, and you dont care so none of this actually matters to you.
It also pays Gaijin twice, with both our money and time. Given how easy it is nowadays to have a cross platform experience, paying them twice is completely unacceptable.
Also, as I have pointed out before, this transfer service doesnt just affect WT, but also the other Gaijin games aswell.
