At this point, it’s just annoying. I had pinned all my hopes on Gaijin when I switched from World of Tanks with 10 years active play time to War Thunder, but after almost two years of actively playing wt, I can’t say which is worse.

To be fair, I was aware of that, but unfortunately years too late, and only after player numbers had plummeted. And War Thunder is unfortunately well on its way to making the exact same mistakes.

I did the same when I first switched to WT. I just recently went back and played a few matches on WOT and was pleasantly surprised at the state of the game.
It is not “realistic”, but then again neither is WT completely. But WOT has come along way with how the game looks, plays, and the cost of their stuff.
A lot further in changes than WT has made over the time Ive been gone.

I would love nothing more than to be able to fully transfer my account to pc, the only times i open up wt on my xbox anymore is to purchase packs since thats the only place to get them, i dont think ive played a match on my xbox in a long while

It’s now official that PlayStation will begin discontinuing support on the PS4 in spring 2026. This is slowly becoming a real problem if account transfers aren’t opened much longer. But you’ve spent the last two years working on things nobody asked for, just to make the game even worse.
