Most google searches take you to years old forums. I my self only found this forum 6 months after the service was already closed.
The devs refuse to announce the service is available openly. All they do is start a new thread which quickly gets buried under all the other topics.

I got tired of waiting and made a new account on steam to take advantage of the deals. I imagine this is a similar feeling as to when a recovering heroin addict relapses. Stay strong fellas 🫡

Sadly, this is probably the main reason why Gaijin doesnt care about transferring accounts. All a bid to get their console player base to abandon their accounts and pay for everything they already bought a second time.
This tells you nothing.
And if what they have done in the past is anything to go by, this topic will not be updated when they start the services up again, rather a new topic will be created.
At least they could bring it back for a fee, a little extra profit always comes in handy.

the idea of money hasnt stopped gaijin from making decisions in the past i dont know why this is an issue that gaijin is having trouble corrrecting. And what everyone has said the whole reason i want to transfer would be to spend more money on sales
there are definitely console accounts that have invested a lot of time and money in the game and would like to save their account and would rather pay for the transfer, just make it available. A new player has nothing to lose, but an older one is a different matter, so the number of transfers could be limited so that those who need it actually use the opportunity. (I would rather pay for it to save my account, a lot of time and money that I put into it

Hey i’ve been playing on and off since 2015 and haven’t been on console since 2018.
Have I missed the window of availability on account transfers or is the option going to return in the future.

Gotta love it, been waiting to do this since barely after the suspension but what a surprise gaijin wont update the players at all about the current status of this even after 7 damn months. i made this account years ago last thing i want to do is start over. please update everyone is tired of waiting for you guys to actually do something.

Honestly Gaijin is losing money by continuing to suspend this service. There isn’t much available in the research tree for GE. I no longer have access to my Xbox since my ex took it, and I’d love to buy packs on sale but I have to log into a Xbox to get access to a vehicle I buy to play it on PC. I am not going to create a new account either.

It’s been decades. I want to transfer my account from a PS4 acc to a PC account so I can finally use market and gaijin store normally… but Gaijin didn’t bring back the service yet… At this point I don’t know what to do and I’m not planning on making a new account

So it’s December 29th, 2024 I this ever reopening or should I just entirely switch, to a pc account at this point? Anyone got any ideas when it’ll happen again?

I opened a ticket related to this question… their answers are still the same, robotic and repetitive.
I get it that right now it’s the holidays thingy and the new years but come on it’s been almost 6 months… half a year. And also I don’t think there is a good excuse for that (no hate or something).
I am saying that many xbox or console players in general either don’t know that this unlinking can be done (if they are even playing the account on a pc). Or don’t really want to buy premium packs or anything (there are 2 types of players: one that buys NOTHING and one that does know a lil’ bit about war thunder’s grinding problem and needs PC Offers).
At least in my opinion…

Dont I know it. WT is the only reason I still have my Xbox one at all, If it wasnt for my account still being tied to it I wouldve gotten rid of the console.

I kept rubbing this in the face of the dev untill he quit responding here lol.
So easy to link the account, hell its automated, but to unlink it is a massive rigamarole just because Gaijin wants it to be.
