ofc I couldn’t test it for GRB. But in Air RB its BR needs to be lowerd one tick. Its a Tornado after all, with just two IR missiles. Considering the opposition its BR is too high. Its just hopelesly slow for this BR bracket. So no base bombing possible before much faster jets snatch them all. Anti air gameplay almost not existent with just 2 missiles.
Hard disagree. GR4 I get bases more reliably than the GR1, 90+% of matches I walk away with at least 1 base kill and with 2x IRCCM I can usually walk away with 1-2 A2A kills too. My experience is because of the uptier, im competing with far less base bombers
Could possibly do with being 12.0, but honestly, 12.0-13.0 is just a compressed mess. Nothing is at the right BR.
But hey, just be thankful you get IRCCM stock. GR4 has Aim-9Ls until T3
I played a couple games in ground. Hosbos are a great addition, much much better to use than brimstones however they are quite slow and will be intercepted at 12.3 since most games are going to have good SPAA. But if we ever get Hosbos on the EFT itll be a big buff.
I’ll try with even more reduced loadout. But its hard to keep up with F-16, Mirage etc.
Wish Tornado would have fire bombs like most other jets. This way you’d require less bombs, means less weight. Unfortnately with just MK1000 you need 5 minimum. its drags you down in comparison with napalm equipped fighters. They’re all faster anyway and have to carry less weight to get a base down.
can we possible get the 6 setup hosbos and 4 of the bigger ones
5x mk83s/mk13s is fine, i routinely beat those aircraft to bases with that loadout

Is it better to use common 1000lb bombs or offer these air ballute / parachuted ones advantages?
Iirc HOPE is just a penetrator version of HOSBO so im not sure if it would be an improvement in game.

Personal preference
I prefer the retarded bombs in ARB due to base locations (can be in valleys quite often) and some issues i’ve had with fuse delay.
But in ASB I prefer non-retarded because I will loft bombs

its standard in the tornado family ? even smin said the same thig for the swiss f18 with aim7p, if the plane is capable of carry it and can use it (like if its sold with the plane but they didnt take exemple)
I mean i wouldnt complain but i dont think Gaijin will do that for the Tornado given how much they seem to hate that plane

This is a configuration setting in the CDK common to all Tornados. Its not reflective individually of which Tornados had 4 rails or not.

Yes, you now have the option to airfield spawn or air spawn. Very good addition to the game, it made the boring process of taking off and climbing a thing of the past.

More importantly, it spreads the fight over the width of the map a lot more
There is also that, I wish planes were more spread apart in top tier ARB, but it’s a good change overall.
