What happened to Air RB?? Since I played last they removed airfield spawn? Its all airspawn now?
This is a configuration setting in the CDK common to all Tornados. Its not reflective individually of which Tornados had 4 rails or not.

Yes, you now have the option to airfield spawn or air spawn. Very good addition to the game, it made the boring process of taking off and climbing a thing of the past.

More importantly, it spreads the fight over the width of the map a lot more
There is also that, I wish planes were more spread apart in top tier ARB, but it’s a good change overall.
Speeds up the grinding, yes.
And the radar mode? What is it good for? SEA (seems it can’t be changed)? never had this ingame on any jet.
It’s the same radar as any old Tornado, they just changed the text to reflect the fact that it is a naval search radar and not an air one.

Its only for A2N. Just with an updated name
Was only for the MFG previously, but with the GR1 getting Sea Eagles they just enabled it for all Tonkas. In the future, more may get AS-34s

How does MAW mod works? I unlocked it. Equipped the advanced BOL pods. Doing test flights (air defense zone), but CMs won’t fire off.
You may need to delete the loadout and make it entirely from scratch. External CM pods can be buggy when equipped to an existing custom loadout after unlocking them.
But after that, it will only detect IR signatures within a certain range (I cant recall what that is) but will also trigger for flares.
Also its BOZ not BOL. BOL is the rail pods that the GR4 has.

I had to delete all existing loadouts and had to restart WT. Created new loadouts. Then it registered the new pods.
Its 240 Flares + 240 chaffs. Is this ok? I just think all flares would be better? I usually fly low. Maybe chaffs aren’t really needed.
It will trigger to any missile it Detects in 5km, if its coming towards the plane

I’d go 1x BOZ-EC and 1x BOZ. Maximise loadout efficiency. If you are running 2x BOZ-EC at 50/50 you might as well run them both.
268? Flares and 600 chaff. Should be more than enough
Being at 12.3, you’ll need chaff. MP is not a viable defence
Don’t you lose MAW coverage to the side opposite to the EC?
IRL yes. In game, no, that’s not modeled at the moment.
Each pod has 360° view, but the airframe blocks the view of some of those sensors. That masking isn’t modeled

Ok, it autodispenses quite alot flares per cycle. Is it possible to set up the MAW to use less CMs?
Not at this time. Its a heavily requested feature though
In the GR4 though, ive also got 2x BOL, so running out of flares isnt an issue
