the point is : Aircrafts with such radars will detect the F-35 without trouble, because ranges are too short for the F-35 to shine.
we will get F-35’s, simply to see them crawling back in caverns, because the aircraft is less capable in dogfight (within 20km), and will be detected over 80km (which is the average range between airspawns in normal maps - i didn’t take “nuclear escalation” as a thing yet)

What happens when we get longer ranged missiles that are still moving fast at those ranges and well beyond that
Probably nothing since they’ll still have a relatively early warning time
If they had a late one like a fakour then maybe, but I doubt that would happen for gameplay purposes
I mean Ramjet stuff like the Meteor will definitely surprise people with it’s speed, which should be on par with the KH-31PD arm iirc, maybe faster even.
But as with all meta shifts in WT, people will adapt and then defending just happens at 50km instead of 30… and so on
So yeah i doubt longer range missiles will really push the envelop due to the map and game design of Air RB

Nothing is ever enough for US mains, first they’ll complain about the amount of stuff, despite basically getting a new top tier every patch for the last 2 years give or take… then it’s not good enough, (AKA F-15I debate, and later the F-15CGE pylons), so gaijin buffs their stuff to a pretty high level for whats allowed within the sources… then they whine about all around buffs like this missile performance one because it doesn’t exclusively benefit them…
And soon they’ll complain about other nations getting unique F-35s (eg F-35I and european F-35As with meteors and ASRAAM) because the USAF didn’t do the upgrades that foreign customers did… end of the story is that you can never please a US main

If the F-15I was gonna be added with 229s then the F-15E should’ve had them as well.
The only F-35 that carry meteor now are US F-35…
F-15C GE is valid too since EFT and Rafale and Su-30 got extra missiles
The reason I raised it is because they didn’t argue for parity… they argued for superiority (In exchange for loosing exclusivity for better engines, israel players expected the AGM-65Ds from the E, but had to wait months for it instead) which feels pretty disingenuous
If USA players argued for both jets to be identical i would support them, is my point.

You mean israel players wanted a missile that had no evidence for F-15I carriage as a fake “trade” for something the F-15E should’ve had from the start if the F-15I had the PW-229
F-15I also got all the different SPICE bombs while US one did not, I don’t see you whining about making them identical when it’s in your favor

F-15E gets GBU-53s, which are at a minimum on par with the spice, so thats just not a real argument is it
SPICE 250 gets better warhead in game and there is all the bigger SPICE bomb variants
The bigger SPICE aren’t stealthy so play a fairly minimal role outside of lower BR CAS, and bringing me full circle to my original point, if spice wasn’t artificially delayed, then israel players wouldn’t have made a fuss about the mavericks, but they were left with only GBU-15s as an IR cas weapon… in a time where the KH-38 and maverick were dominating

Its no KH-38, but at the end I like it more than guided (glide) bombs.
Any missile with an IR seeker is better than a clunky ir bomb like the GBU 15, especially when you get 3x the amount.
