It shouldn’t go anywhere.
I have to assume you know each other or this is a joke
The Kwk43 does not struggle against 7.7 tanks.
*Flagged inappropriately.

“its really good at 6.7 but doesn’t have anything really special to go up to 7.0 so yeah, its fine at where it is its all around good tank but specially now since everyone at 6.0 or up has enough pen where a good place shot would pen or kill the tiger 2 in one shot since ammo is in the back of turret”
It would do fine at 7.0. Panther 2 doesn’t struggle to pen anything, so SLA would be fine.
I don’t even know who this guy is lmao.
Also OP asking for changes to the Tiger II SLA specifically so it could go to 7.0 is just… why? its perfectly fine where it is. If its because its a “fake tank” and you think it should get these things and move up to 7.0 on those grounds alone then I would like go full paper to ask for them to give the Panther II a gas turbine, a mechanically assisted loader and a stabilizer since those are all things the Germans were planning to use or had tested on tanks at some point as well…
Then again considering that this is your response and looking at your responses to other posts i see there isn’t any real conversation to have so I will see myself out.
Out of curiosity, was the Panther II always going to have that slow-ass turret traverse, or was that Gaijin balance?
tho even if it gets it it wont really make such a difference to move it higher
but… its the same turret…
good joke
with limited aim angles, slow aim speed and no armor at all? looks fair to me
easilly penned to mask tho. And the hull. But it is a good competitor to Tiger 2 fr
The in-game turret of the Tiger II 105 is almost identical to the Tiger II’s, and its small modifications are made up by Gaijin. A 105 version would have needed a serious turret redesign. Problem is, that turret was never built or even seriously designed, there were just sketches. The 105 upgrade was abandoned before more serious work could be done.
There is definitely potential for a “Tiger II late” with rangefinder and stabilised gun sight to be added into the game eventually though.
I am currently writing a suggestion for a Jagdtiger Sla, and you are correct in this, but I must also point out that this does not meet the game’s definition of “fake”. The component was built, it’s unique, and it was functional. Whether it was ever mounted on the vehicle or not, is no problem for Gaijin, so long as it was intended for it. We have a bunch of air loadouts that are the same.
Now, as for whether the Sla was intended for the Tiger II, the answer is yes with an asterisk. The development of the Sla began back during the competition between Porsche and Henschel to design the first Tiger. It dragged on and on and there were many changes, so by the time the process was reaching maturity, it was proposed that it should fit both the Jagdtiger and the Tiger II because this had obvious standardisation appeal.
However, in reality, installing the Sla in the Tiger II would require big changes to the rear hull and engine deck, which are not present in game, and in this sense I agree that War Thunder’s Tiger II Sla is visually incorrectly modelled - but this doesn’t affect performance in any way.
The 88mm doesn’t really struggle against much. Even targets that you cannot lolpen can be crippled if you know your weakspots, and the fast reload speed does the rest. Also there isn’t really a strong park of heavy tanks at 8.0 BR… most of them are at 7.7 and below, and you already meet them.
At 7.0 - 8.0, what seriously penalises the Tiger II Sla is its mobility, not its gun. You run into a lot of very mobile stuff that can pen you. But, you can also pen it back.
I’ve played it at 7.0 for basically the whole of October (uptiering it to play with a friend) and it already does very well there even in its current configuration.
Answering this question is more difficult than it seems.
The “Panther II” as it exists in game is effectively Gaijin’s invention. It is done by combining several concepts and upgrades that were never part of one unified project.
The up-armoured hull is taken from the real-history Panther II project (a 1943 proposed armour upgrade to Panther hulls that was then deemed unnecessary).
The night vision equipment is from late-war Panther and Jagdpanther units.
The installation of an 88mm into a regular Panther (so no up-armoured hull) is something that the Germans discussed. However, the gun would not fit in the Schmale Blende turret that you see on the Panther F - a new turret design would be needed.
In short, it’s a Frankenstein tank.
It is true that late war, the Germans were having to downgrade some of their components to simplify production (see the Pz IV J), and that turret traverse on the Panther F was worse than in the A and G, but since a turret for the 88mm was never made, its traverse would be pure guesswork.
Basically.
No.
Sla 16 was installed in Jagtiger. So that fantasy tank should be removed.
Except those are not Gaijin’s rules for suggestions (let alone implementation). If a component meant for a vehicle was built in metal, then the vehicle can have it. This isn’t even a recent thing… In air especially, but also in ground, we have plenty of vehicles with “unmounted” components.
YaK-141 is completely different case. Things like R2Y2 are removed from tech tree
Good thing this is nothing like the R2Y2s then. Engine meant for it was built in metal and functional, rest of the vehicle already existed. All parts built but not fully assembled is more than enough for WT. The only thing wrong with it is the rear hull/engine deck.
