64D has DIRCM too i think. Its this little pole near rotor
I’m flabbergasted seeing it effortlessly dodging every missile and even new SAMs, how is it this not OP i have no idea.

that isnt a DIRCM, the ah64D dircm is basically a swap out on the wingtips

It will show up so much in fact, that you can home on it, a bit like home-on-jam for ARH missiles

it is OP, its also as far as I can tell the only reason the KA52 and to a lesser extent the mi28NM are 12.0 though, normal radar and saclos missiles still work and arent going away
We still need equivalent Helicopters to other nations, AH64D is rotting with Hellfires from the 80’s, they’re slow and old and i don’t even bother to spawn it anymore.
Also imagine spawning your new shiny SAM and you launch at a MI28,KA52 and your missiles don’t do anything to it, crazy huh?

yeah I dont understand how the ah64D is 12.0 when these things are, at least the spike helicopters finally went up last update but helicopters in general have very questionable balance
spike launchers could go up to 12.7, the ka52 and mi28nm to 12.3 and then leave the ah64D and its partners at 12.0, leaves room for an ah64e to go to 13.0 depending on how the agm114L and other loal munitions are added

Yeah but the dev server is still going so we can still only hope for them to do something about it.
BR changes and major updates rarely coincide, this will probably be ignored till the october BR changes

That ain’t happening god for bid a top tier US heli would be finally useable. It’s too a point where a premium heli is gong to better than the end of the TT heli. Gaijin yet again letting US helis rot.

source 3 and 4 from that source present seemingly valuable information
though I suspect the DIRCM would be more effective at range as the diffraction of the laser could possibly block the entirety of the missile FOV at a certain range
though surely seeker shut of IRCCM missiles like the aim9M would be able to somewhat block out the laser and guide on iog assuming its a silly helicopter player that sits on hover mode
