you say sad I say, the only reason I would want something like that on the ka50 is if it means the thing will go up to 12.0 and leave me alone playing 10.7, especially if it has indeed been buffed this update as it seems

I never said it wasnt, I just said not new, its also probably the only reason the ka52 and mi28nm are 12.0

now we have to start asking why the ah64D and other things like it are 12.0 too

This is an extremely one sided mechanic and it should honestly be delayed and reworked

i say sad because they could’ve added either yellow 25 with the DIRCM in the TT or yellow 18 the Ka-50Sh with it’s thermals in the TT

IRCM on the Ka52 prevented my ADATS to keep a proper lock, so now with a new buff they’re going to be unstoppable considering that SPIKES were pretty easy way to deal with KA50s cancer.

You’d need a hard kill laser for that to work

no, IIR seekers take a contrasting image in IR, an IR laser from a DIRCM would still show up and are know to be effective against IIR missiles

No, it is is regular strobe IRCM

that isnt a DIRCM, the ah64D dircm is basically a swap out on the wingtips

It will show up so much in fact, that you can home on it, a bit like home-on-jam for ARH missiles

No they aren’t, in fact, i don’t even think both met each other IRL yet

it is OP, its also as far as I can tell the only reason the KA52 and to a lesser extent the mi28NM are 12.0 though, normal radar and saclos missiles still work and arent going away

We still need equivalent Helicopters to other nations, AH64D is rotting with Hellfires from the 80’s, they’re slow and old and i don’t even bother to spawn it anymore.

Also imagine spawning your new shiny SAM and you launch at a MI28,KA52 and your missiles don’t do anything to it, crazy huh?
