i think you(idk if its you on cam) manually guided it to hit that paticular spot, you had [L] next to the rocket and a small square inside big one

It was not me. It was a screen recording from a youtube live video, and you can clearly se it was not manually guided ss the missile in game does nor have the laser mode. It should have ir + laser but only has ir + iog
The problem is that the missile cant oneshot tanks just like the spikes, atleast in the dev. The cm502 is not op it is much better irl, the one missile in this update that is op is the LMUR missile
Edit: if it has the laser ingame now sorry for my mistake, if it has it im actually happy so it can use ir and laser. Again if i was wrong sorry

I find it funny that people here seem to think that the CM502KG is an actual, proper “ATGM”.
Its not, it sports a lightweight HE warhead or a SAP warhead, it has no HEAT effect or any actual tangible penetration aside from explosive effect.
It also sports a tiny warhead to boot, the GBU-39 with sub 20k already fails to kill things on a direct hit, did people really expect something like less than half of that the same amount of damage?
This missile was designed to be used against unarmored vehicles and stuff like M113s, not actual tanks.
Ok but it should be an ATGM in game or at least have similar effect for balance. Unless you want cruise missiles on Chinese jets.
Or they could just add a actual missile meant to be a ATGM, the CM502KG will never get the effects people want as it never mounted a warhead that would be effective in WT.
