I am the wrong person to ask regarding that I added my comment as I felt it was a good part of context that was needed.
In regards to your report once it gets passed to Dev’s its out of the Tech Mods hands from there on out.

1- Spall liners were introduced at the same time across over a dozen vehicles.
T-90M was no where near the only one.
2- Internal ESM was introduced to over a dozen aircraft at the same time: F-18s, F-16, etc. Flankers are no where near the only ones.
So your post is claiming that you have a problem with many nations getting features at the same time…
I doubt that’s the intent you had behind the post.
What you want is already part of the game.
Do you ever realize you’re refuting things that isn’t being argued? I never claimed T-90M was the only one.
What F-18s and which F-16s have internal ESM specifically?
Looks to be all F-18C/Ds & F-18E/Fs, all Typhoons, F-16C Pobit, etc.
ESM also isn’t electronic warfare equipment.
Spall liners need as much research done about them as armor, or any other complex thing.
Needing to know exactly where they are placed.
This is incorrect. None of the aircraft you have listed, have internal ESM. Internal ESM is where you can use the ESM without needing to have the ARM equipped, like how the Su-30SM2 has it.
Some features are clearly added first to Russian vehicles or some inaccuracies are addressed faster on Russian vehicles.
Example: Bravy the destroyer was the first bluewater ship to have missiles
Iirc, T-90M was the first vehicle with them in the dev server(?), but there was enough fuss about it that other MBTs got them too such that it was no longer the only one with it when the update went live.
Maybe it was just Gajin testing it on one vehicle to start, maybe they were trying to pull a fast one, idk.
What happens on dev server first is irrelevant.
T-90M is 1 tank, the Leopard 2 series of tanks is over 10 tanks & requires far more work.
It was never going to be only one tank that got it on live, never.
You’re probably right. Even if they didn’t grant it to the NATO counterparts on release, there’d be enough ruckus for them to be added soon after, especially considering how influential spall liners were initially.
I’m including this other topic into this thread as it is another example of how a feature gets added into the game, stops being expanded to existing vehicles, and is restricted to new vehicles.
So maybe they need to focus on that backlog for a bit. Because the net result would probably be bigger
For example, Britain got 3 aircraft this major update. If they fixed the outstanding reports for the Harrier and Tornado, we’d effectively get 11 new aircraft.
Let alone all those on other TTs.
I think the devs invest too much time in adding new things and then dont spend enough time either A) making sure they are in a good state before being added or B) fixing anything they’ve added previously.
Not a single one of those listed aircraft got ESM
They got AGM-88 which has ESM, but take away AGM-88 (either by not equipping them or by firing them) and it doesnt have ESM anymore.
Let alone the performance difference between ARM based ESM and intergrated ESM.
Typhoon for example should have 360° ESM that updates instantly
By that argument none of them have ESM, because Flanker’s scope is non-functional without ARMs equipped [dev server 1].
Just cause you can see the scope doesn’t mean it’s functioning.
That and ESM in-game isn’t anywhere close to a notable feature outside of ARM use.
and that is the other side of the coin. Aircraft like the Typhoon should be able to establish a target point via ESM
Euro does not have internal ESM. You need an AGM-88 to use it, and it only works within the seeker’s FOV, and you lose it once you launch the missile.
Flanker’s ESM works without any ARMs. This allows you to target radars with traditional air to ground munitions much easier, or even just come in for low pass gun run. Super useful in every gamemode where you fight AA
And the Flanker ESM also works instantly. As opposed to all the NATO planes (including the F-16 which has the HST pod) which need to take 30 seconds to complete a full scan (which isn’t even how these systems work IRL)
@Macron-Spokesman I think you can also add ejection seats and fuel dumping to the list, it also seems to be mechanics that have been forgotten for the older aircrafts
ah yess spall liners
