Damn I just pulled the trigger lol so far I think the XM is a pretty good hull down sniper, it can be played the same way as xm-803/kpz70 as have the speed and pretty good gunner sight for its br. So far I couldn’t tell which one is faster
Next I am aiming for the premium OF-40, it has 14x gunner sight zoom and DM33, which looked like crazy good spec bro even the turret looks like the one on Leopard 2K lol
Imo, the XM-1 is I think the fastest “MBT” at its BR, especially in acceleration. If your crew skill’s driving stat isn’t maxed, I would suggest pumping that ASAP because the XM-1’s speed is one of its best attributes 😄
HP/Ton (RB):
XM-1 = 28.9 hp/t
XM803 = 24.2 hp/t
MBT-70 = 28.5 hp/t
KPz-70 = 29.0 hp/t

The OF-40 (MTCA) is one of the absolute best premiums in the game. I play light tanks 90%+ of the time and I adore the OF-40 (MTCA). Absolutely worth it. Only downside it is basically has 0 armor 😂 But that makes it fast.
I also notice something pretty strange, it is prone to engine damage when your turret gets pen, like wtf already happend two times
And? I JUST got a nuke with Type 16 (FPS) premium prototype that is at the same 9.3 BR, with one extra kill than you, guess Type 16 is the better tank. That’s kinda pointless take, any good player can get a nuke with 99% of the vehicles in this game, it doesn’t prove much about vehicle’s real performance.
Tbh I think the tank could get a slight reload buff. Maybe like 6.7s → 6.3 secs

Got both XM-1 GM and Chrysler now. peak
XM-1 C is better for the hulldowns and trolly angles.
Simple, the Germans used a different autoloader that was 2 rounds per minute slower.
Armor is jus better on the GM, and the mobility, otherwise they’re the same
Turret armor is better on the Chrysler but the hull armor is better on the GM, though the Chrysler is better angles on the hull. Their both good.
The turret armor is only better if you hit the cheeks. Overall the GM is just better.
Although I’m not certain it’s enough to warrant a br difference
Never played the chrysler, but if i remember correct and from the few times encountering it, the chrysler can bascially not be oneshotted, which would make it a TON better.
*edit: I checked in hangar and yes, its definitly much less prone to be oneshot and that general hull armor/fuel tank layout is really working in its favour.
The fact alone that the Ammo is basically limited to 25 Shells in the GM before they start to store it next to the loader… and in the Crysler u can take like 40 Shells without that issue…
