Ok 🤣
Didn’t they like, just decrease the SP to spawn the ADATS?
Also, call me dumb, but the FlaRakPanzer is dope;
I think they did not long ago.
But making a bad vehicle cheaper isn’t a great bandaid.
the dips are MOSTLY fixed, they still happen in matches, but what i was mocking was you calling Missiles maneuverable, no they are not, missiles in war thunder ae completely and utterly wrong in terms of responsiveness, hitting anything that isnt a still target is a massive challenge let alone something steaming it. ATGMs irl are the BEST weapon to engage a moving target with. in war thunder theyre nigh worthless. dont bother disagreeing if you do because im not going to further discuss this when you dont such a basic thing.
hell im watching your videos and there is significanty unresponsiveness despit you being in the shooting range. in matches its even worse.
The missiles, as seen in the videos I posted, are more maneuverable than they are IRL.
listen go watch some videos of atgms being used then come back to me. atgms in war thunder act like an explosive with a rocket attached to it. they have basically no proper guidance, they just try to follow your sight. and do a very poor job at it
ATGM/SAM guidance behaves radically different in test drive compared to live matches, especially for players with poor connections. The issue appears to come from the fact that all the instructions for the missile have to be relayed through the server first before the missile actually adjusts. For players with substantial ping (I play with ~200), this means the missile is recieving instructions on where to go based on where it was 0.2 seconds ago.
This delay, coupled with the “realistic” nerfs to missile controllability is what is responsible for most issues people face with missiles. The rest come from Gaijin’s slapdash approach to missile guidance. Most systems developed from the TOW onwards are much smarter than currently implimented, designed so that just holding the crosshair on the target will give the missile the commands it needs to hit it. None of this “leading” stuff.
Also, any with significant offset from the sights are designed to account for the offset and level off on the correct path quickly and without input, rather than overcorrecting through and slamming into walls/ground/etc.
Reporting the OP’s post because you don’t agree with it is lame. To whomever it may concern
For the US at least I can only imagine Gaijin over assumed the impact of bringing fighters into GRB to combat CAS. Which they thought would make GRB asymmetrically balanced. Clearly this kind of thinking didn’t work out, and now we have the massive gap.
