I wish they’d either just add NV, or give us back the 40+ mm of armour the gunner is lacking by leaving the door open

That is a good point… but good luck bug reporting it :D
I reported it when they took NV off the Fox, before the Scimitar even came out.

The newer Scimitar models with ESPIRE and BGTI that are in the files, also still have the door open and the useless SS100 modelled in there, even though the night sight was removed when they got thermal imagers IRL - because a) no longer needed when you can see at night in TI, b) not enough room for the NV eyepiece under the larger periscope unit for the thermal imager
Hopefully they change that before those come out.

Missing so much armour too.
The whole vehicle is missing armour lol.
Even missing the backing panels on the inner section of the mantel.
You shouldn’t be able to kill it with .50 or 14.5 mm under the gun
There’s a document I used in a report about this that has the design armour resistance specifications. It should’ve immune to 14.5mm APcI frontally at 200 meters
its just NVD, not thermals.
That comes much later with the LEP scimitar
Well OTIS could be mounted to the roof and observed via the commander.
The scimitar we have has the Otis box.

It should, especially with the flap open for the sight (same on fox) but gaijin decided when they added fox to not add NVD under certain ranks for… reasons unknown to us
People complained about having to research NVDs for night battles (before they were opt in), so Gaijin made them intrinsic.
Then people started to complain that they kept “flash banging” themselves by toggling the NVDs on during day time. Gaijin!s solution was to just stop with adding NVDs
which we now cant stop doing on vehicles with it because we cant disable the modification
this is same if i press J in airbattles and accidently bail out from my plen, should gaijin remove bailing out bc i had major skill issue whit my keyboard ?

Completely unrelated but have you ever had a server crash your plane slammed into the ground and now you’re crew locked
So annoying.
yeah, you should not be punished for server related issues.
my point is that “flash banging” your self in GRB is similar to ARB:s accidental J out
