What we expect is fair compensation for getting an extremely rare vehicle only for it to be worthless. Spending around 30 mil sl to get a dupe is so rubbish

Just reroll dupes for smth else. Could be restricted to “activated on account” only type.

Well, so if someone spend 60k SL and go Obj. 279 it’s also not fair and we should take his reward and give him few boosters and random wager?
Trophies are random, if you are lucky, you get superb reward.

My frustration comes from gaijin shafting console players
We get these duplicate coupons we can’t really do anything with.
Console needs an option to atleast trade the coupon in for say a vehicle box that rewards you with a random vehicle you don’t own! It’s not like it can be exploited either because getting a vehicle drop is rough enough already and the chances of coupon are even lower.

No, but in the case of you rolling a duplicate, you have a 66% chance to get a vehicle, and 33% to get SL.
You could even reverse it, make it two 1.2 mil SL crates, and 1 non duplicate vehicle.

I had some duplicates my buddies had skins for, wish I could’ve given it to him… but no. It’s okay though.

while i don’t think you should be able to just feed premiums to a “friend” i think that the rarity of the vehicle should affect the drop rate. because as it stands (and please correct me if I’m wrong here) you have the same chance to get a Ultra rare tagged vehicle as you do to get a Uncommon tagged vehicle.
I’ve had camos from these crates for vehicles I don’t even own and the chance of me even obtaining the vehicles they are for is already ridiculously low. The event crates need some sort of drop protection system in place because currently the silver crates are rough.

It’s an event vehicle, it can grind events

It’s funny seeing people complain here about what they get because the best thing about gambling is you don’t have to do it

fr could be like me, could just be decals and deco, genuinely all I’ve gotten from these crates since the Watermelon, has been 2 decals, and a deco

I almost never bought any gambling boxes, I’m far too broke for that lol. The only thing letting me grind decently fast is the sl I occasionally get from daily rewards
It would instantly and extensively abused the moment you could trade/give items between players.
Same exact cause and reason why the referral system was changed, and tens of thousands of accounts were just banned for funneling all those referral rewards to a small handful of accounts.
Stona is not wrong here.
Having said that, you should know how I feel about duplicates.

This is a TERRIBLE suggestion. I have talked with you multiple times about this. THIS is the reason why nothing changes, because you guys keep asking for for a PURE NON DUPLICATE SYSTEM.
This is never going to happen, and the Devs and Community Managers will keep ignoring us because you guys keep suggesting terrible ideas like this. I am writing up yet another long post, and quoting my old posts where I detail why this is such a horrid idea.
If you guys want ANY chance of a better system, stop advocating for a pure non duplicate system, without being paired with another change, such as premium time. The change will either be WORSE, or the odds will go WAY WAY WAY down if they changed to a simple non duplicate system.

I have gone over this concept ad nauseam. This is one step away from direct choice of vehicle. The company is NEVER going to make a change to non duplicates without lowering the odds, or requiring something extra, like only for Premium Account players.

Your suggestion is #1 on my list below. I have been trying for years now to get everyone on the same page instead of everyone making the same suggestion over and over again. It will simply never happen, and it is a waste of time to even debate this suggestion any further. They would have changed it years ago if they considered it an acceptable change.

Imo, there are only 4 possible options, with #1 and #4 having almost 0% of ever happening. I consider it a complete waste of time to even try and advovate for #1 or #4:

Change to NO duplicates, but lower the odds of any vehicle from 0.5% to something like 0.05%. The company would never change to no duplicates without also lowering the odds. (I do NOT advocate for this as you would now need ~2,000 boxes to HOPE to have a chance, instead of “only” ~200 boxes. Spending 120 Million SL’s instead of 12 Million SL’s for a chance at one vehicle.)

Change to NO duplicates with the same odds, but only allow it for players with 180 days+ or even 365 days+ of premium time. ( This would be my preference, as it would allow a reasonably priced route for collectors to get NO duplicates, while also generating more stable income for Gaijin. A true win/win imo.)

Change the 1m SL’s for duplicates to 12m SL’s, which by the odds, would give you enough SL’s to “get” another vehicle. (I think this route is bad though, as it would flood the market with other prizes which would dilute everything even more. I do not advocate for this option.)

Changing to DIRECT CHOICE of vehicle is 100% UNTENABLE as they would lower the odds to be like the main prize odds @ 0.001%. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, just NO.
