People asked for the free, aka. tech tree BMD-4M and we still here today. RAH-66 Comanche is unlikely to have a counterpart on the tech tree. Being premium doesn’t mean quality, the F-4EJ ADTW is a good example of this, and knowing some issues pointed by the community the stealth mechanic in the RAH-66 Comanche apparently doesn’t work properly.

Likewise, the Tiger is a German helicopter, but have you ever seen an American Apache change direction in battle? The most I’ve seen is two or three kills,They then end up being eradicated by a pantsir or flakrad
Never seen an AH-64 changing the fate of an battle bevause is widely known how bad SACLos and Beam-riding ATGMs is today. The Tiger HAD Block 2 is the French model of the Eurocopter.

Indeed, still the versatility of the Vikhir is what is powerful about it, that and the direct flight path.
A 114 will seldom ever achieve the feats a well deployed Vikhir will.
If we had to pit a RAH-66 against a KA-50 right now, even if the RAH-66 got it’s countermeasures, I would put money on the KA-50 winning nearly every time. Now, if the RAH-66 had 114Ls this is a totally different situation and at that point, I see no issue for the KA-52 to acquire LMURs as well. A 114L vs LMUR fight to me is far more balanced than SALH 114 vs Vikhir though.

Stealth doesn’t mean invisible. I’m tired of people saying that stealth mechanics are poorly done in War Thunder. I use the F117 in top tier without any problems, It’s as easy as using it at 6,000 meters high and only opening your bomb bay when you have a clear target. After releasing the bomb, you close it and become undetectable to radar again.The Comanche, for its part, is “almost” invisible on radar,However, it is not invisible to the eye, but it does not matter because it is capable of withstanding missiles, cannon fire, and heavy machine guns. It is the first true attack helicopter for the US and they have made it a premium.

Yes and thats the only change the K has even though it received an entire digital autopilot upgrade among other things.
It gets more pen and thats about it when it should be far more.
Seriously, the fact that the only tangible difference from the A all the way to the K in WT being the warhead and thats it is very disappointing.
I don’t think Ka-52 needs more weapons despite my past comments, and regarding the Ka-50 it needs to be at close, which restrict the Vikhr to its maximum potential only to the Ka-52 due to the thermal imaging devices and better optic zoom values, even, the Mi-28MN has better optic values than the Ka-52, maybe I just wasted time researching the Ka-52.

Heat signature specially, is one of the most common issues on stealth vehicles in-game.
Also missing everything it lacks, it’s a great helicopter, a tank in the air, it should be free
I’d say thats a good example of the give and take in the end, the 114B is still a largely inferior weapon to the Vikhir, however, most of the SALH armed 114 carriers do indeed have better optics, although some do actually get rather close to the KA-50’s x23 zoom, eg stuff like the G-Lynx only sports a max zoom of x12, or the AH-1W sporting x13.
In the realm of top tier vs premium helos as well, I have had little interest in grinding out the AH-64D over just using the premium AH-64As. The D brings functionally nothing to the table currently bar the FCR which provides no real benefit right now, its sadly a waste of my time. The RAH-66 does not really change that dynamic currently in the US tree, the lower tier helos already have all the bells and whistles higher tier helos have, the RAH-66 also fails to really do anything new bar stealth. I cant see someone with the Peten really being any worse off than a RAH-66 pilot, heck, the RAH-66 may be slightly worse due to it having a lower total payload comparatively.
Unlike popular opinion ADTW is actually quite nice plane.
It only gets those 8km Hellfire shit. Its nothing special. IMO
