We should get MiG-25PDZ (which will be probably best interceptor variant from MiG-25 even built) and MiG-25BM (bomber/SEAD) into TT.

Absolutely hate the event grind, specially when it doesnt even make sense to add a mig 25 to event vehicles! Its for unique, special and more theoretical vehicles, thats why we see the X5FU, TOG ll, even the new jet powered propeller plane “Fireball” would make sense as a event vehicle, unique but not always better then whats already in the game, the MiG-25 foxbat on the other hand is a normal bomber interceptor that flew, that worked (kinda) and somehow they were like “yea lets add it as an event vehicle”
On the other hand, its a fast plane. Probably one of the fastest in the game putting it into that special category. Still just an absolute shame that something as the MiG25 will be limited to an event. I hope they can redeem this decision by either making multiple variations like the MiG25P/PD/PDS and a long list of strike and reconnaissance variants.
Or an even better way of saving this stupid decision from being a total wreck, the MiG-31 Foxhound, dont know much of it in practice but should on paper be a better version of the Mig-25 in every way. Thats someone i believe to be the most logical way to handle this.

There’s the PDS variant which is, from what i recall, basically the same thing except built from older Mig-25 airframes that could go in the TT

They really need to add some sort of MiG-25 to the tech tree, with how long people have been waiting for the MiG-25, having it be locked behind an event is just kind of insulting. The PDS would resolve this, but I don’t put it past Gaijin to never add another variant of the MiG-25.

I agree that the mig 25 should be a tech tree no reason to make it an even ive been waiting for it for soo long and its unfair that someone who hasnt even played russia can just get it right of the bat

The fact that this might actually happen.
I don’t want to huff hopium but I think Gaijin will add either the MiG-25PDS which was a MiG-25P upgraded to PD standard. The MiG-25RB reconnaissance-bomber which could only carry bombs. The MiG-25BM air defence-suppression variant that could carry air to ground missiles like the Kh-31 and Kh-58, air to air missiles like the R-60 and possibly the R-40, along with bombs. There is also the MiG-31 family which finally includes a gun.

IDK what Gaijin was thinking making it an Event Vehicle. The MiG 25 is my favorite plane of all time, and I’ve been waiting for it to be added. Just for me to see them add it as an Event Vehicle. I never have time to play events to get the vehicles, and I ain’t spending money to get the MiG 25. This is another reason a whole bunch of my friends are leaving War Thunder. They don’t add the MiG 25 as a tech tree vehicle, but they add the BMPT as one. And I’m pretty sure the BMPT isn’t even in serial production yet.

It is really silly, I love the MiG-25’s so much and adding it as an event vehicle arguably ruins the addition of it. It was mass produced and is not some one-off unique vehicle.
PD should be tree P should be event imho
