Compared to the last set of loot boxes I am doing objectively worse.
I’ve now opened 274 boxes (16.5mil sl less a box) , the exact same anlint as when I received a vehicle (and as a coupon) on the last ones. I’d also received multiple coupons for decals and decorations up to that point in the last one, and other decals without coupon too.
This time I’ve received one coupon for a profile icon, a couple of decals, and that’s it.
On the boxes prior to the last ones, I did significantly better, having received coupons for a couple of vehicles within 100 boxes.
I understand how odds work. So don’t have any expectations or disappointment here just rather interesting to note that anecdotally at least the more I appear to interact with the loot boxes the less rewarding theyre being overall comparatively to each of my previous goes with them
Got my first vehicle after opening about 260 boxes (much more than during the previous event) - H-34 straight to account. I don’t do helicopters, would have preferred a coupon.
H-34 is one of the best vehicles to troll in GRB. You just sit 5km away from the map outside of range of any AA and fire at people. Can be fun as hell if you don’t mind rather medicore US 7.7 ground lineup
20million and 40k sl exactly now spent, not a single vehicle whatsoever at all in any of those 334 boxes
This is the worst loot boxes I’ve ever done, and quite honestly it’s ridiculous that a player can invest that much sl - equal to the value of a lot of vehicles - and not get a single plane/tank/ship or whatever
The best thing I’ve received is a bear pilot profile icon, both best in terms of value and it’s cool. That’s it. For 20mil sl
I wasn’t bothered before, and didn’t care really. However I do have to admit now having looked through the list of what I’ve received it’s a little bewildering how coma protect awful this run of lot hexes have been for me
20mil sl is approx £200 if it was bought with money (I didn’t thankfully)
I keep note in my notes app on my phone as I go along tbh is how I check
As said in a previous reply here, I received a vehicle coupon within 273/274 boxes on the last lot, plus a bunch of other decals and icons etc in excess of what I’ve had this time in a comparable amount of boxes.
The bunch prior to those ones I’d received two rare vehicle coupons within about 10million sl iirc
I’m not suggesting it is the case for real but merely coincidentally It’s like the account is marked to be awarded badly because it did ok previously
Fwiw I’ve since opened a other 11 boxes and still just wagers and mainly low award sl haha
Finally after 386 boxes opened I was awarded with the most amazing and special rare as hens teeth vehicle that’s most certainly a dream for almost anyone into ground battles…
I had a 75% off coupon for it the other week, and spare ge just sitting there, would’ve been way more efficient and significantly cheaper to just use that and buy it outright and never look at it again hahaha
Whatever my dude, I really don’t care about that at all, it’s the sentiment and fact that to gain this vehicle, in fact any vehicle, it cost me in SL I ground out the equivalent to GE being 54000 or in real money equivalent to having to spend well over £200 is more the point when the thing is worth what? Is what rank? And so on.
It’s that the whole loot boxes this time around are so measurably bad compared to previously for me that the above is my experienced whereas previously it was nothing near as abysmal or ridiculous and significantly more rewarding for the time investment made.
That’s the point I’m making. It would have been cheaper and significantly more efficient and rewarding to have just paid actual cash money for it and then forgotten about it forever, from the off.
