The Future of War Thunder's Community Managers

I found this post on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Warthunder/s/Wls6gI4Sfp

Given that CMs only seem to engage with the community on the forums, I feel the need to post this here in order to have it addressed.

I’m not sure if any of this is true, but it is a big accusation, and I would like to receive some reassurance from the CMs. Despite everything, I love the forums and it would pain me to see all of this vanish.

Thank you.

All the Tank games are Russian and That how things Need to remain

This post will likely get shot down by mods immidiately and deleted but…

“Gaijin is planning to completely shut down the forums and leave only social media”

Lmao. On one hand cant blame them, on the other, this is terrible news.

I hope this is just some fake news tho and not real.

I hope it is fake news as well, which is why I posted it here.

If it gets immediately deleted, we will have our answer.

All the issues pointed were caused by the great majority of stupid and clueless players that bring the most profit to Gaijin yet doesn’t ask or request nothing for the good of the game, it can happen to War Thunder as said by the poster.

here beforre the thread is locked and deleted

If this is true then things are going to decline fast.

and Gaijin if you’re reading this (probably not lmao) you will never shake your russian origins, just like wargaming you’re known as russian tank game guys and always will

Gaijin is planning to completely shut down the forums and leave only social media

This alone undermines the reliability of the whole post. Does anyone seriously believe that will happen?

Not to mention right after all the work they did transferring to the new forums…

I need to hear it from a CM to know for sure. Gaijin unfortunately doesn’t have the best reputation for making good decisions.

This community has worked itself up to a point where even when the obviously BS rumours are outright denied by Gaijin, people will still claim they’re “lying”.

It makes no sense to completely axe the forums, considering that’s where they get a lot of feedback, as well as do announcements. There’s also helpful guides and other discussion. Not to mention, this would kill a part of their community, causing it to fracture to other sites such as discord and Reddit, neither of which are set up like a traditional Internet forum.

Some redditor who hates gaijin makes a post about gaijin firing staff involved with enlisted (dead game), and turns the forums on fire acting like it is gonna boil over here.

Well i still want to hear from them

I haven’t seen any other posts about this topic? And even if it (probably) is all false, I’m sure the CMs would still appreciate being notified of someone spreading lies about them. Wouldn’t you?

The OP on reddit is your typical anti russian nafo shill, hes just spreading BS because his favorite CM got canned I wouldnt worry about it.

But you do know who did it, right?

Some Alex Jones post on Reddit spreading conjecture… Community Managers aren’t going anywhere, and that Reddit post proves they aren’t.

It’s obvious that they’re just peddling lies for an agenda as they have zero evidence.
Some Russian kid making wild accusations.

What a nonsense meme - why on earth would Gaijin not have a Social Media Manager ffs?

There’s nothing at all in the ad posted on reddit about doing away with this forum or anything else.

Load of BS whining!
