The F-5C will wipe its ass with the Hunter F.58 in a dogfight.
It is more maneuverable and is way faster (around 300 km/h).
Yes, the Hunter has better energy retention, but because it is that much slower it has to take the fight with the F-5C eventually. The Hunter cannot run away for very long, best it can do is break of and get some distance before being caught again by the F-5C.
It also weights 2 tons more, which is pretty significant.
A decent pilot will almost always win in the F-5C. A skilled pilot must fight hard to win in the Hunter F.58.
I honestly have no idea where this guy gets his ideas from. It’s just genuinely accepted that the f5c is the best 10.3 for your buck if you like dogfighting. Go for the a10, a6e or su 25 if you like to be a cunt.
Damn, well that’s another jet that needs to be moved up. I swear it got moved to 10.3 from its original 10.0. There is no way there keeping it at 10.0 with the buffs the magics have gotten recently.
The problem I’ve been hearing about with it is that it’s just not as manueverable as the rear-aspect-only 10.3 fighters, and doesn’t not get all-aspects like the slow but fairly agile attackers do.
The thing is, at speeds bellow 800kph it can put dog fight pretty much most super sonics at its br, the thing is still a mig 19, it just compress a lot more.
The magics are still crap tho and most people including me uses 9Ps. Cause Magics barely catch plane when launched at 1.5km rear aspect, meanwhile with 9P i can do 3km launch and still get kill.
Mongaroth is known for throwing ad hominems and start their first response as “another copium post”. They should just take the f-5c out and see how much the flight and damage model has changed. No longer pulls, no longer retains energy while pulling. It was BS enough to one circle mig21s at high speed, now it cant barely do it against the mig19.
The only reason the F-5C is not overperforming stat wise is because it is a premium plane a lot of new players buy.
Those players drag the stats of the F-5C into the ground, because they don’t know how to play in the higher BRs. But that is the case with every high BR premium.
And if the plane isn’t overperforming, then how is it that you perform way better in the F-5C than in any other plane you fly?
we don’t talk about stats, we talk about a plane with two deflating balloons per engines and two 10g missiles against planes that can go mach 1.15 in the deck, accelerate like a phantom and missile you six times.
We don’t say the zero is OP, we say it’s a bad prop, slow, bad climb rate, no engine power but good pull and great flat energy retention; why doesn’t this apply to the f-5c? You carry all the privileges to disengage. Unless you’re uptiered against it you don’t have any worries, if you die to an f-5c is because you’re slow and distracted or had to dogfight it because there was no other option.
yes they are, still the f-5 has tiny engines, do you expect it to produce a lot of heat? the gripen and the tigershark have the same issue. Small engines. And when the f-18 gets added it will also have a cold signature.
