I don’t understand why people default to Vietnam when talking about the Phantom and Fishbed, instead of the various Wars of the Middle East, in which the merits (or lack thereof) of both Aircraft were shown far better

They claimed 7 of 16, they destroyed 5 of 16, and in August they hit back with 10.
5 of 16 is half? And with 56 Phantoms.
The F-4E is an absolute monster when used right already, idk what ur talking about at all.
The initial post was before gaijin overhauled top-tier BRs.
The F-4E before could face Mig-29s and F-16s. It’s better now. But it is missing a load of stuff.
