Well, the last clue, the day, can only be one of 3 numbers, as 4 makes no sense, and the third clue is “08” so the first two clues are the year.
So, either
a) they totally messed up the clue (the quarter of the date of HMS Belfast’s being put into reserve) or
b) it’s coming out on either the 10th, 20th, or 30th of August :)

Some players are arguing for adding up all the times it was placed into reserve as it happened more than once and that the “08” is the month instead of just “8”, resulting in dates like 12-08-2026 (keeping the zero for the month instead of it being part of the day).
I personally think that is a bit far fetched given how relatively easy the other ones were.

If they go with the final into-reserve date it would be December, but 40 August (or 4 August) would make no sense.
“The exact quarter of the month it was placed into reserve” seems hard to reinterpret. Could just be wishful thinking. I don’t see how you could possibly get to “24” from that.
If they mean the publicly available decommissioning date here (https://hmsbelfast.com/history) of 24 Aug, that means the quarter is a “3”, so only 30 Aug would make sense.
As far as Reserve Service, this page cites only two: “a few months after June” in 1962 and then the final into-reserve date in 1963 (which again would make no sense): HMS Belfast, British light cruiser, WW2
But… reserve dates in Wikipedia:
- Sometime after Aug/47
- 1 Dec/52
- 25 Feb/63 (probably the “few months after” June/62)
- Dec/63 (final time)
So since December is impossible, probably they picked the third time and it’s Monday (1-08-202-6)
Personally, I think it would be on 12-08-2026, since august 30th is already near next update and I dont think they would add the crate during dev blogs and dev server

Pretty sure most of the crates were also used as tasks for event stage completion. The current naval event is running until the 27th if I’m not mistaken, that would give us a three day gap where they could announce the next event maybe on the 28th and have it start on the 31st (F-16XL air event hopium).
I don’t think the actual date of that reserve is known, just the month.
I read it as the quarter of the month that the date is in, not what quarter of the year that month is on. so the 5’th would be in the first quarter of a month, the 17’th would be in the 3’rd quarter of a month and so on.
This is how i did for the last clue:
Reading through just Wikipedia and no other sources they mention:
1’st December 1952 → reserve = 1’st quarter of that month.
25’th February 1963 → reserve = 4’th quarter of that month.
24’th August 1963 → retrofit in prep for reserve = Not technically placed in reserve but this date is used sometimes for some reason, 4’th quarter for the month.
? December 1963 → reserve = ?? No date that i have been able to find.I have an extra source ( HMS Belfast | National Historic Ships ) That also mentions 15’th of October 1947. = 2’nd quarter of that month.
The clue says nothing about adding them up, you can take individual quarters because you have the 0 already from the 3’rd clue, it can’t be 4 as that would make it 40, it can’t be 3 as the 30’th is a Sunday. So that leaves 1 or 2 as options. 6 202 80 (1 or 2) , flip 180 deg gives 10-8-2026 or 20-8-2026 , making it the 10’th of August (Monday) or 20’th of August (Thursday).
If you instead add them together (for some unknown reason) you’d get 2+1+4+4=11 you can use the zero for the month making it 11-08-2026 (Tuesday)
