The Dev Server is Opening with Major Update “Tusk Force”! — 05.09.2025 (Dev Server is closed)

It launch one at a time if you have the two launchers active and press the missile fire button.

But it launch two if one of the launcher only has 1 missile remaining for some reason it looks like.

Sky Sabre seemed to fire one at a time from what messing around I did on the dev server

Gonna be completely honest, as much as I’d love to have MITL so I could properly guide the TV Martels, I don’t think adding MITL CAS would ever be a good idea.

Genuinely, what would the counterplay against such weapons be? If the counter to a weapon/vehicle in ground battles is “Just spawn a plane/heli, bro”, it that weapon/vehicle shouldn’t be available in ground battles.

Depends on the MITL.

I dont think Martels would be too bad as youd need to guide them one at a time and be essentially AFK whilst doing it. Also, having to manually steer the missile could be made fiddly so accuracy was hard. If anything, would make them weaker than they are now in everything except range and “LOAL”.

Though things like the Paveway IVs being denied DL because it “would add MITL” is really dumb

That’s actually silly lol

For the Martels, Walleye IIs and whatever other early TV MITL missiles there are there definitely could be ways to keep them balanced, but I struggle to think of a way that could make stuff like Spike NLOS balanced

Yeah, so would have to be done more on a case by case basis, but there refusal for any MITL is kinda wierd.

(especially given that technically SAL For the Brimstone was added specifically to add MITL to the missile :D )

… isn’t that just LGB with a bigger designation range?

Yep

hahhahhahahha

when I was testing the SAMP/T it seemed like whichever launcher was closer to the aircraft launched a missile. Multiple missiles at the same target came from the same launcher, not alternating and not both at the same time

LOL, look at the modules, and compare them to what leo and abrams got

I can only hope that they will consider re-adding these vehicles now that they’re receiving attention. It looks like the Coelian is about to be very good and very fun. The Tiger II 105 nerf might hurt, but I’ll be no less fond of the tank for what it is. Maybe for WT’s upcoming birthday, Gaijin please?

Funny, despite being a nerf, the Tiger II 105 will have objectively better firepower than the T34 heavy; especially if the round gets corrected to 16.9 KG like @Ghostmaxi said. Not that the T34’s gun is bad, but this will be effectively the same thing with a quicker reload and HE filler.

We have gotten like 3 vehicles with hard kill APS since the first batch of hard kill APS tanks were added in 2020.

Around 3 in 5 years. I have no hope in seeing all nations getting a hard kill APS tank for the next decade.

It’s not weird to people who played in 2021.

Everytime I look at the UDES 33 I get flashbacks.

Why does the M55 get the same reload as the FV4005?

The M55 is recorded to have a sustained rate of fire of 0.5 rounds per minute, while the FV4005 was cancelled in part for having a subpar rate of fire of “only” 1 to 2 rounds per minute.

The M55 has a larger, heavier shell (a HE one, which is better than HESH most of the time) with the same reload time at a lower BR (4.0)

The FV4005 is not only much easier to kill, it’s also much slower and on top of that gets massively handicapped by HESH, while being at a higher BR (6.3)

you see, the reason is uh bleh

Uhhhh...

Honestly I feel if we went off IRL it would be the other way around, because Russian tank are jammed packed with electronics and components in a small area and NATO tanks have more space in the tank for the crew.
