Are they finally going to put the ball-and-socket chains on the back of the turret of all the Merkavas?

they already have

It’s funny they don’t want to model moving Russian side skirts because then they wouldn’t act like the fixed armour pieces they are in game

will we get this for the hanging slat armour on the back of Challenger 2 TES/OES and 2F with the tea table modification on?

Also in the Merkava 2, 3 and 4?

i dont know, i didnt make the video

but i would assume so if they are the same in that regard

No its just the French version, the one that doesn’t exist irl

because we will get the variable geometry wing jank but in ground

basically the hitboxes cannot be dynamic in the game, so making those skirts move would make them look nice but would probably make accurate shooting harder

Well we should have dynamic armour values like hitting ERA at 90 degrees and 40 degrees and it functioning in exactly the same way.

This model in particular is not used by France but there is a similar one which gaijin was lazy to add.

how would the French sell it if it never existed

French sold the missile system. The Fins mounted the system on to their own vehicles and the French had no hand outside of selling the Crotale on the open market Gaijin was just lazy and gave them a vehicle they didn’t make

This would be like Germany getting most tanks that uses their ammo…

hey we still don’t have regenerative steering, you are asking too much for the poor poor little indie developer xD

it’s because france didn’t have another SPAA of that level that they could add at the time iirc

They did but gaijin was lazy and the Crotale they could have added would be track based and only have a 180° rotation iirc.

Would’ve been better to add that and give it full 360° for balance than copy and paste

The best solution for high tier would be to base markers on radar coverage.
Outside of visual range (actual visual range, not like 15km) they would just be unidentified blips, when a plane enters the visual range of another plane the marker should be visible to all allies.

I don’t have any faith in Gaijins ability to make that work though, so the range at which markers appear should just be limited to visual range and AI units need to have their visual range massively reduced so they don’t reveal players.

Personally, I think having markers in ARB is fine, but the mechanic has to be reworked.

They would have had to also give Britain a Crotale, as South Africa co-developed that thing

Gaijin hates both Britain and Fr*nce, so ItO was the obvious choice lol

Edit: actually, not sure how much South Africa contributed in the actual development, but they were the ones asking for a new anti air system to be developed and paid 85% of the development cost.

The project resulted in the Cactus SAM and Fr*nce adoped that system as the Crotale

Also would’ve been a good choice for France and the UK given the ADATS is better for killing tonks and Helis

Gonna be honest here, the ADATS wasn’t a good choice to start with and Gaijins implementation of it doesn’t help one bit
