What performance would M1060CV give them? I wouldnt really say it hit those vehicles heavily, they were already lower BR than M1128 or CV90105. C

my friend said it performance close to the M900, may be much stronger
I believe then it would be way too much for them to have without any BR changes.

The performance is more or less on par from what I’ve seen.
M1060CV pens 560 mm @ 60° 2000 m
M900 pens 566mm @ 60° 2000m
Brochure explicitly says its superior to M900, but I dont have irl penetration figures for M900 itself.
And even if I did, its not 100% comparable aslong as target material properties are unknown.
Stuff like Target Composition, Material-Density, Tensile-Strength, Yield-Strength and Hardness can affect the penetration drastically.
I dont have dimensions for M1060CV either, if I did, I could throw it into L/O to properly compare them.

I dont think they need shell this powerful.
Is this the only info about it? Seems rather limited for them to even base pen off of it.
it does behave better than most bombers true, but it still catches fire and gets ripped to pieces as soon as someone gets on your tail.
sometimes i do get a little lucky and the protective gunners do enough damage to stop them from entirely killing me but it’s not always guaranteed

YEah since it is not a “bomber” it’s a damn broken allready in ground games, as used on striker. I can imagine, how much more it can terrorize after getting bomber buff also
That wouldn’t really be a problem for Japan. Give that new Indonesian light tank that stupidly strong round and move it to 10.7-11.0, Japan could really use a light tank that they can effectively use at 11.7+.

Considering japan has a whopping…(checks notes)…nothing between 9.7 and 11.7 it would be nothing but a win as you either uptier 9.7 to 10.7 or take the harimau to 11.7 where 7.5 secs of reload are really really painfully felt for a tank of that kind…
At this point you are better off taking the 9.7 Type 16 with atleast autocannon immunity up front no?

What’s really the point of making Harimau 11.x material? JP TT has nothing between 9.7 and 11.7 — people say “buff it for line-up” and then get back with words “have you seen the hole of 10.3-11.3 in there, hmmm no tanks?”.
Pretty sure we will see more Indo (and probably Malaysian) vehicles to fill the hole, thus create some semblence of a line-up there… you gotta start somewhere no? And it’s not like JP is the only one having BR gaps this large
