The range it has is alr big enough for the entire GRB map anyway.

I meant that su30’s could pick airfield spawn, have a big ass mountain infront of them, put their targeting spot on the enemy spawn. And then spam away all kh38mt’s land and then get kills. Totally NOT fair

The Kh-59 has the same “problem”
They are basically just slightly more intelligent rocket propelled bombs, meant to destroy buildings and other larger targets, not tanks
It’s rather small explosive mass doesn’t help in this situation and will be the reason why it won’t be as good as other guided A2G ordinances

Not sure but i have seen that they pick a set alltiude, follow it and then go top down last second.
So if u launch from a low altitude they maybe will fly way lower. Not sure tho as i can’t test em myself
They can alr do that, its called KH-38ML, the actually existing KH-38 variant. (Yes I am salty about kh-38mt being in game when there is no proof that it exists and is as real as Tiger2-105) And lock on after launch wouldnt be that busted as you have to take into account that first, AA exists and these are slow AF, and that dead tanks are stronger heat signature which means the AGM is more likely to lock on to it.

I know thats what i meant only that the kh38mt would be able to lock on to targets when getting close enough in range.
Well that is true but you have to remember that gaijin wouldn’t implement it without doing it on the “mighty” kh38
The problem with LOAL is that it would apply to much stronger weapons as well…

From what ive seen they follow the terrain at like 100m alt and when getting to target they climb a bit and go top down.

the kh59 ( and other ir missile ) will lock above the ships rather than center.
Gaijin is alr very selective with a lot of stuff, so they could give it to this to balance it a bit. Especially as the US has the weakest CAS in the game rn.
