Ljdam 62 er is way better than the 39, ability to adjust on the fly
I think that it should have GNSS/INS and an IIR seeker for the terminal phase.
Only the AGM-154C has a IR Seeker
I am just wondering what that window in the front section of the JSOW is.
If it reaches target its going to do much more dmg than this joke. In most cases it will get shot down yes. But same will happen to jsow.
Depends on situation. If there is no anti air then they are better. Otherwise all your bombs will be shot down real quick. Gbu39 is superior for SEAD runs
Someone already beat me too it.
[DEV]F-16CJ should have dual pylons with AGM-154A
But I might make the same report if it gets rejected since its not that detailed.
I might also make some reports for the F-18’s and F-15E when I get the chance tonight.
Maybe they had as reference Picture a actuall AGM-154C and didnt noticed it?
Only lies in here
This is what Claude said:
I know AI bad but I am just waiting for sb more intelligent to roll around.
So yeah no. A1 is only a warhead difference and only C has IIR
@Smin1080p_WT, has the radar and RWR for the J-15T been finalized? Will its radar model and parameters change before the major update? Specifically, can we expect an improved radar and full-aspect RWR for the J-15T? Thank you for your time!
yeah most likely this. Wonder how they will proceed… either they will just leave it and make it a C outright or change the model.
Or do nothing at all
What does the JSOW have to offer that the current glide bombs can’t already do?
Mach 0.9 max release speed is a big oof.
Also Gaijin still allergic to making PIDS actually useful.
The version that we have ingame right now is essentially as effective as regular JDAM-ERs or GBU39s. Only the AGM-154C has a substantial difference due to having a terminal IIR seeker.
I want to see a revert of the previous Devserver with the M1A2 SEPv2’s LWS. On the old devserver (previous update) they had the LWS separate from the LRF with it being a follow on modification to the LRF. It makes more historical sense to do this considering the AN/VVR-4 Laser Warning System w/ ROSY was a prototype modification rather than being a standard to the iconic MBT. Keep them separate so players can get the best of both worlds.
Cool addition but DoA.
If they really wanted to make the PoBIT different in terms of ground ordnance then they really could have just added the GBU-53…
Damn, I have no idea why Gaijin is allergic to adding decent ground munitions for the US. In what world is the Mavericks actually good in top tier.
Even then, it’d be no surprise when other nations will also get the JSOW and probably their platforms can carry more of them.
Yes, my friend, for me personally, it is difficult to understand that radars of different apertures have the same performance, and even its X-ray model is wrong.
There’s a lot of things on the SEPv2 that don’t make sense still, like the mounting brackets for ARAT2 still being on the tank without configuration. It looks like a Frankenstein Abrams
And the ERs actually adjust to moving targets
