The Dev Server is Opening with Major Update “Ninth Wave”! — 02.03.2026

I just hope in the future developer time and effort can be aimed towards additions that have their place in the current CAS meta.

First some comparison screenshots for the Blenheim… it is night and day between the old and new model:

Ah, darn, slight duplicate effort, as I already reported the elevator: Community Bug Reporting System

I wonder, in case of the F/A-18C Late, would only proft the US one or all of the C Lates because same plane?

Dev server update 2.54.0.38 ~150MB

  • small changes to the J15T (and J11 / J10) like afterburner size

  • Centauro 2 received a bunch of 5mm armor on the turret

  • Dragoon turret is now 7.31mm RHAHH instead of 32mm aluminium

  • some new explosion effect added to a lot of ships

  • and again infantry changes

-1 Billion social credit score for me I guess

So I’m a bit confused here @Smin1080p_WT

The book I quoted is not an Encyclopedia, it’s a collection of photographs and scans of various placards from Chinese airshows and absolutely nothing else. It’s not a book that contains detailed entries or articles on weapons with summaries gathered from multiple sources (what an Encyclopedia is), the only thing the book has is photos from airshows. I only used it to provide a clear view of the placard in my photo. You can see that the page in question is a literal scan of the placard in my photo which is a bit blurry. Even with the blur however, you can somewhat make out what the placard is saying and it’s pretty clear they are the exact same.

This book has zero text other than a table of content and the locations of these airshows and the year they took place in. It’s a photo reference book. This book contains a lot of photos from airshows that we do not have access to otherwise. (As unlike the author of the book, we don’t have the means to attend every single one of them and take so many photographs)

Not only that, but when I reported the SD-10(A)'s maximum speed using an AVIC placard and a scan of it from this book in the same fashion it was accepted (Community Bug Reporting System)

Dev: “should we work on making the J-15T actually somewhat enjoyable to play in actual battles?”

Other dev: “yeah no, lets just go screw around with the afterburner visuals”

(And before anyone takes this too seriously, I know that people who work on the visual aspect generally don’t work on balance stuff)

@Smin1080p_WT Is it intentional by the devs that the AGM-154A-1 is modelled off of the C variant?

In-game it has a camera which only the C variant should have as it uses it for terminal guidance.

Will we be seeing it on other air frames or just the F-16C PoBit for now?

This is F-16AM from Ukr btw

its greek

Greek 50s have different loadouts too including AGM-84D, and this is a 50+. Do they use Mk 83 1000lb GP bombs, cause that would explain the dual racks.

Surely the accepted PL-12A reports will be implemented by Monday copium

how hard can it be to adjust max speed values behind the scenes, on the statcards and adjust thrust values? like a 5 min job, max

It may take a few days like it did with the I-Derby ER to give them the benefit of the doubt, but if not implemented within patch release then I doubt the accepted PL-12A reports will ever be actioned.

Only half of it is getting a report passed, the other half is praying the devs actually want to change anything.

Probably. But I/we do have to remember the PL-12A bug report(s) isn’t the only thing they could be working on at a given moment. So I guess a delay (even if inconvenient) is fine I guess.

Here’s hoping it’s not sent to “Accepted” purgatory for 1+ years! 🍻

And now… my watch begins. Day 1 of waiting for the update to release:

Yeah, fixing the PL-12A would require quite a few revisions and it wouldn’t be straightforward to figure out a proper propellant and burn time/force ratio. (Of course there’s the option to just linearly scale up the PL-12’s motor based on how much extra propellant it has but this is not exactly realistic)

It’s nice to see that the J-15T’s afterburner clipping got fixed tonight, though the rest of my visual error reports haven’t been accepted yet and those issues remain. One example is the J-15T’s cockpit not being unwrapped properly.
